Enables users to remotely log in from anywhere at

any time. The user interface makes it easy for us-

ers to navigate through their job list and open,

review and approve pages. Once pages are approved

on the App, InSite will notify us that the pages are

production ready. Even approve an entire job with one click!

Login

Your password can be retrieved if it is forgotten.Click Forgot Your Password. Enter your username and click Email My Password. Your password will be emailed to you using the email address used to setup your account.

Turn pop-up blocker off.Turn cookies on.

Enter your username and password and click Login.

If you are unable to login successfully, click System Diagnostics to check the system requirements. The most common problem is that Java has not been updated. System Diagnostics will instruct you on how to update Java.

Name the job.

Click on the Create Job button to create a new job.

Files cannot upload across a network or from a CD or DVD.

Then hit Create Job button.

Click on Upload Files.

If Kodak verify certificate appears you must click “Trust.”

Name the Upload.

Drag your file folder/PDF into the bottom window OR > Click the Plus button to browse to the file you want to upload.

Folders should be stuffed to protect the files.

When the file is done uploading > Click Close.

The progress bar will appear when the upload starts.

Click on the Upload button once you have placed all the files in the bottom window panel.

Click on Jobs to return to the list of jobs you have access to OR >

Close your browser to log off InSite.

This will return you to the job home.

Do not cancel the window even if it says 100%. Wait until the close button appears.

Log into InSite > make sure the Summary tab is selected

Select the Preview button.

A new window will open launching your digital blueline.

Please use Preview to view, approve and reject pages.

Preview will allow you to view pagination and view your high res PDF’s for content.

This flash animation will turn the pages similar to having a 3-dimensional book in page order. You can turn the pages by using your mouse to click and drag OR > using the arrows at the top of the screen. *

The buttons at the bottom of the preview window allow you to see your item in different views.

Roll the mouse over the arrows on the far left and right side of your screen to approve or reject single pages.

Click Approve page - Approves a single page> You are about to approve 1 page - click OK

Click Reject page - Rejects a single page> You are about to reject a page - click OK.

Approving Pages

You will receive an e-mail notification when your files are ready for approval.

Approving pages online is your “final ok” to proceed to print. Once all pages have been approved your job will move forward to be plated.

You cannot approve pages unless you have been assigned as an “Approver.”

Pages may be approved in either “Preview” or “Smart Review.” Please use Preview unless you are using Smart Review for color calibrations and densities.

While in Preview, you may approve the entire job at one time.

If you have previously rejected any pages before clicking on the “Approve Job” button, they will NOT be approved.

>Click “Approve Job” to approve the entire job.

Confirm that you want approve all pages by clicking “OK”.

To check approvals, navigate back to the Summary tab.

Once you have approved all pages, log out of InSite.

SmartReview

PDF names will appear on the left hand side. If they have been approved they will appear with a green check mark. If they have been rejected they will appear with a red “X.”

In Smart Review you may view pages, page separations, and preflight information, as well as make annotations. Pages are not always in correct page order.

You may Reject pages > Set Page to “Not OK” > Request Corrections > Reject Page

You may Approve pages > Set Page to review “OK” > Give Final Approval

Sending in Correction Pages

Corrections should be sent in in single pages.

Name the PDF using the page number and indicate it is a revised page.

Below is an example of a new page naming convention.

> 3_new.pdf

> 3revised.pdf

*You do not need to create a new folder to upload new pages. You may upload corrections into the MLP job folder or the folder you previously created for the original upload.

Do not resubmitt every page - ONLY corrections.
