1. Water or Steam connectors andaccessories should be installed instrict accordance with applicablefederal, state and local installationcodes.2. As with any other fluid transmissonline or device, it is reccommended thatinstallation and testing be done byqualified personnel.3. An accessible manual no.4 shouldbe installed at the outlet of the supplypiping system upstream of theconnector. Each piece of equipmentshould have its own no.4.4. No.5 coupling is not to be used asthe primary shut-off.5. A restraining device is recom-mended for all types of moveableappliances. The T&S Sure-LinkRestraining Cable (no.6) is therecommended restraining device forcastered appliances.6. With these Water and Steamconnectors, AVOID:• Flexing, stretching, excessivebending, and vibration.• Movement after installation on fixedappliances.• Movement on moveable appliance(those with factory equipped casters)except for repair, maintenance, orcleaning.
7. Final assembly must be tested forleaks.

General1. Carefully read these entire Installa-tion Instructions prior to start ofwork.
2. Shut the manual no.4 on supplyline to “OFF”. If there is no no.4, mainsupply line should be turned off.
3. To be able to position appliance asclose to the wall as possible, the twoends of the Safe-T-Link connectorshould be offset from each other.

Supply Side1. If supply side Tee is already male,apply Teflon Tape or sealant to malethreads at supply side. Thread no.4onto male threads and tighten.

Avertissement: Nº.5 devoirs’orienter pour permettre l’entréedu fluide à la moitié d’attelage etsortir la moitié du raccord. Suivreles flèches de la direction de lacirculation indiqué au-dessous etsur soi-même.

Die Kupplung Nr. 5 ist nicht alsprimäre Abschaltung zu verwenden.5. Für alle Arten von beweglichenGeräten wird ein Blockiergerätempfohlen. Das T&S Sure-LinkBlockierkabel (Nr. 6) ist dasempfohlene Blockiergerät für Geräteauf Rollen.6. WARNUNG: Nr. 5 muß soausgerichtet sein, daß dieFlüssigkeit durch die Muffenhälfteeinfließt und durch dieStopfenhälfte ausfließt.Flußrichtungspfeile unten und aufNr. 5 beachten.

Abschluß und Überprüfung1. Den festen Sitz aller Verbindungenprüfen und Dichtigkeitsprüfungdurchführen.2. Nach der Installation desAnschlußstücks Nr. 1 Gerät vorsichtigin die Betriebsstellung zurückschiebenund sicherstellen, daß AnschlußstückNr. 1 keine Knoten hat, nicht zu starkgebogen ist oder unter eine der Rollendes Geräts geraten ist.3. Falls Nr. 6 benutzt wird, Vorrichtunginstallieren und die Länge soeinstellen, daß Anschlußstück Nr. 1nie voll ausgezogen ist.
3. Stopfenhälfte von Nr. 5 in Nr. 2(Außen-/Innengewinde) des Gerätseinschrauben und festziehen.4. Die Nr. 5 Hälften wieder verbinden.
