 Instructions  for  downloading,  installing  and  configuring  Microsoft  Lync  for  iOS.    

Requirements  iPhone  3gs,  4,  4s,  5;  iPad  (all  versions);  iPod  Touch  3rd  generation  or  later  iOS  4.3  or  later    

Downloading  &  Installing  Download  Lync  for  iOS  from  the  iOS  App  Store    You  can  download  either  by  clicking  on  the  following  link,  or  open  the  App  Store  and  performing  a  search  for  Lync.    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-­‐lync-­‐2010-­‐for-­‐iphone/id484293461?mt=8    After  downloading,  the  app  will  install  automatically.    Once  it’s  installed,  tap  on  the  app  icon  to  launch  and  start  the  initial  configuration  process.

Initial  Configuration    To  start  the  initial  configuration,  tap  on  the  app  icon  to  launch.    Tap  OK  to  allow  Lync  to  access  you  local  Contacts.    

   Tap  OK  to  allow  Lync  to  send  Push  Notifications.

   Enter  your  HMS  Email  address  and  eCommons  password.

 Tap  on  More  Details.    

   Enter  your  eCommons  ID.

   Tap  Sign  In.

 Lync  should  now  connect  to  the  server.
