Integrated Child Development Services ‘Uttarakhand’ (I.C.D.S) ICDS and Health Department ICDS and health department work in collaboration with each other in disseminating their services. With the cooperation of the workers of Health department, following three services are provided under ICDS: Health check up and vaccination Nutrition and health education Reference services. Aanganwadi worker provides the above services to the beneficiaries at their respective aanganwadi centres; which is the focal point of all ICDS services ; with cooperation of the health workers. Health workers provide full- fledged cooperation to the AWWs in order to provide the above services to the beneficiaries. The officers and the workers of ICDS and Health Department work in convergence with each other at various levels like state, district ,block and village level; in order to successfully disseminate the health related services among the beneficiaries.
