The report focuses on major changes that have taken place in the academic business unit, and in any institution of which it is a part, in areas such as outcomes assessment; faculty composition and qualifications; faculty and student policies and procedures; governance; financial, physical, learning, and technological resources; and other areas that relate to the IACBE’s Accreditation Principles. 6. Outcomes Assessment Plan for the Academic Business Unit a. Provide a copy of the current outcomes assessment plan for the academic business unit. The plan must encompass each program that is
accredited by the IACBE and must be prepared using the template developed by the IACBE. (The outcomes assessment plan should be placed in an appendix of the interim report.)
b. Identify and describe any significant changes from the plan that was previously submitted to the IACBE.
7. Student Learning Assessment Results for Accredited Programs For each IACBE-accredited program, provide student learning assessment information for the program. This information must include the following elements: (a) intended student learning outcomes (ISLOs) for each program, (b) a listing of the direct measures of student learning that

are used for assessing the ISLOs, (c) performance objectives for each direct measure of learning, (d) a listing of the indirect measures of student learning that are used for assessing the ISLOs, (e) performance objectives for each indirect measure of learning, (f) results from the implementation of the direct measures of student learning, (g) results from the implementation of the indirect measures of student learning, and (h) an indication of whether students achieved each of the intended learning outcomes as determined by the performance objectives identified by the academic business unit in its outcomes assessment plan. Notes: A separate table must be provided for each IACBE-accredited program. 1. End-of-Program Written Thesis/Dissertation All graduating students in the BBA program will have to undergo the
proceedings of a Written Thesis/Dissertation in conformity with the
approved format of the University and under the guidance of an
approved supervisor. On the thesis evaluation rubric, all graduating
students in the BBA program will obtain at least 60% marks on each
learning outcome-related evaluation criterion.
2. End-of-Program Thesis/Dissertation Viva Voce All the graduating students in the BBA program will undergo a
comprehensive viva voce examination at the end of BBA program. On
the viva voce evaluation rubric, all graduating students in the BBA
program will obtain at least 60% marks on each learning outcome-
related evaluation criterion.

f. Summary of Results from Implementing Direct Measures of Student Learning:
1. All graduated students in the BBA program undergone the proceedings of a Written Thesis/Dissertation in conformity with the approved
format of the University under the guidance of an approved supervisor. All graduated students in the BBA program obtained the required
passing marks on each learning outcome-related evaluation criterion.
2. All the graduating students in the BBA program undergone a comprehensive viva vice examination. On the viva vice evaluation rubric, all
graduating students in the BBA program obtained got the required marks on each learning outcome-related evaluation criterion.
g. Summary of Results from Implementing Indirect Measures of Student Learning:
1. 80 % of the graduating students were required to indicate “satisfied” or Highly Satisfied”. The result of the evaluation done at the end
each semester shown that 79 % of the graduating Students were “ Satisfied” from learning the program outcomes. Also, the survey done
online and at the end of the program shown that 82 % of the graduated students were highly satisfied with their program outcome
learning.
2. Alumni Survey which was conducted shown that more than 83 % of the graduated students were “ Satisfied” from their learning on the
program outcomes

8. Operational Assessment Results for the Academic Business Unit Provide operational assessment information for the academic business unit. This information must include the following elements: (a) intended operational outcomes (IOOs) for the academic business unit, (b) a listing of the measures/methods that are used for assessing the IOOs, (c) performance objectives for each operational assessment measure/method, (d) results from the implementation of the operational assessment measures/methods, and (e) an indication of whether the academic business unit achieved each of the intended operational outcomes as determined by the performance objectives identified by the academic business unit in its outcomes assessment plan. Notes: Insert or delete rows in the table as needed in order to accommodate the number of your intended operational outcomes. In the section of the operational assessment results table labeled “Summary of Achievement of Intended Operational Outcomes,” do not add or delete columns. 3. Retention Rate (MIS) The Business Administration department retains at least 90% of its students from year-to-year.

4. Faculty Bio Data/Credential Files (BBA Deptt) 100% of the faculty hired by the Department of Business Administration in Permanent
capacity will holding at least Master Degree in the relevant field of their respective discipline.
The Department of Business Administration also intends hire the services of at least 3 PhD’s in
the Business Management avenue to supervise the overall academic proceedings at the
department.
5. Faculty Research Report (FDC) The Department of Business Administration arranges a bi-annual activity of teacher training
Seminar/workshop for its faculty and at least 90% of the academic staff will attend this
mandatory arrangement.
6. BBA Program Evaluation Survey (Professors Teaching Scaling)
On the Survey Instrument and in the interviews, at least 85% of the graduating students
indicate that they are ‘satisfied’ or ‘highly satisfied’ with the teaching of their professors.

d. Summary of Results from Implementing Operational Assessment Measures/Methods:
1. The Department of Business Administration had a Graduation Rate of 76 % for Fall 2018. The graduation degrees were awarded after four years of course plus project.
2. The Department of Business Administration conducted the survey from its Alumni, On the survey instrument 87 % of the alumni indicated that, as a result of their BBA, they were able to get understanding of the environment and philosophy of modern day business.
3. The Business Administration department has sourced from the Management Information Department database a successful retention of 87% of its students from year-to-year.
4. 100% of the faculty hired by the Department of Business Administration in Permanent capacity are holding at least Master Degree in the relevant field of their respective discipline. The Department of Business Administration also hire the services of at least 3 PhD’s in the Business Management avenue to supervise the overall academic proceedings at the department.
5. The Department of Business Administration arranged bi-annual activities for teacher trainings, seminar, workshop for its faculty. Furthermore, 100% of the academic staff attended session, such as, Objective Based Learning & Student Centered Learning Trainings.
6. The Department of Business Administration conducted a survey on BBA program evaluation, the department found on the survey Instrument that 88% of the graduating students indicated that they were ‘satisfied’ or ‘highly satisfied’ with the teaching of their professors.
7. The Department of Business Administration conducted a survey on BBA program evaluation, the department found on the survey Instrument that 92% of the graduating students indicated that they were ‘satisfied’ or ‘highly satisfied’ with their academic advisors.
8. The Department of Business Administration conducted a survey on BBA program evaluation, the department found on the survey Instrument that 91% of the graduating students indicated that they were ‘satisfied’ or ‘highly satisfied’ with the department’s learning and technological resources.

The Department of Business Administration conducted a survey on BBA program evaluation, the department found on the survey Instrument that 79% of the graduating students indicate that they were ’satisfied’ or ‘highly satisfied’ with the creative and innovative teaching-learning methodologies of their professors.

Proposed Courses of Action for Improvement in Operational Outcomes for which Performance Targets Were Not Met:
The Department of Business Administration completed its curriculum revision based on surveys from its key stakeholders during 2018.
The Department of Business Administration introduced specialization in marketing to the Bachelors of Business Administration during 2018.
Although the Professors performance evaluation target is meet but the Department of Business Administration plans to continue to monitor and introduce the best practices in teaching.
The Department of Business Administration intends to purchase Instructors manual packages from an Internationally recognized publisher during 2019.
