How to Report and Complete Registration EARLY REGISTRATION on 27 April
We have made special arrangement for early registration on Wednesday 27 April, 2011 from 2 PM – 5 PM at Level 2, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road
infront of the ballroom. This is the same level as the hotel reception desk and you can ask any staff there for directions. Please note there is another Crowne Plaza Hotel in another location and please do not go there.
Those who are paying cash on arrival are strongly recommended to complete their registration on this day and time. All other delegates are also welcome to
complete registration on this day. CONFERENCE DAY REGISTRATION
Please proceed to Conference Secretariat at Al-Dhiyafah Foyer, level 3, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road , Dubai for your registration between 7.30 and
9.AM. However, late registration is possible. You can take lift which is located opposite of Hotel Reception Desk to come to level 3 and climb few stairs and then enter Al-Dhiafah corridor . You can also ask hotel staff at the Reception about Al-
Dhiyafah rooms. On arrival at the registration desk, please allow sometime to the attending staff member to deliver you an envelope ( which will contain your name tag, your payment receipt, conference participation/chairing certificates, lunch and
dinner coupon, tour coupon for you and for accompanying person, if any and conference program). Please check all materials in the envelope before you leave the registration desk.
On Arrival Payment for Registration
If you are paying on arrival, please bring right cash money as no change will be
provided at the registration desk. Please bring only US$ currency as no other currency and bank cheque will be accepted and please do not bargain in this regard. We do not accept any bank cheque or credit card on the spot.

Conference Proceedings As announced previously via conference website, conference proceedings with
ISBN is provided electronically. Please visit www.wbiconpro.com to view your paper after 30 April 2010. Please read the instructions there and then view or download your and/or other authors‟ papers. The proceedings will be there for a
number of years which is visited by the readers from the globe. We remind the authors that we will upload the paper or abstract as per the option you have indicated in the registration form. Once your paper is uploaded, you cannot change
it again in any form unless you pay US$100 for any change.
What you should bring along for your presentation Please bring in 15-20 copies of your (printed) paper (powerpoint presentation or full paper) for distribution at your session (this is optional). Each author will have
about 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Every room has LCD and laptop computer and please bring your pen-drive or USB stick for power-point presentation. However, we do not guarantee that
they will work without any failure and we strongly recommend you to bring your overhead slides as stand-by as we have overhead projector. Please do not embarrass us by asking for pen-drive or for blank transparency. We do
not provide any blank transparency or facility for making transparency and be sure that you came with your transparency.
Please note that we do not offer any internet access in the presentation rooms. You may ask the hotel about using wifi or their business centre which may cost some money (at your own expense).
Please Take Note About Handling Computer Please give your USB-stick or pen-drive to our person in charge of the computer and data projector. Please do not upload your paper by yourself and our
representative will help you. You must be certain that your USB drive is virus free and if you do not clean your file or infect the computer and or damage data projection by your handling, you may be liable for payment for such
damage.. It is safe not to upload your paper and clean the virus, if any, in the file before you bring for uploading.
What about Tea/Coffee Break and Lunch? Tea/coffee and light food will be served three times (arrival, morning and
afternoon) at the Foyer. The hot buffet lunch will be at Al-Dana Restaurant which is located at Hotel Reception level (level 2). Lunch will start from 1.15 PM sharp on Thursday and 1PM Sharp on Friday and there are plenty of foods of your choice.
You can eat as much as you desire until 2.00 PM. Please check your lunch ticket and bring those as these will be collected at the lunch. If you lose them, please contact the staff at the registration table. There are vegetarian, non-vegetarian and

halal food, variety of salad. Soft drink or juice will be served but you need to ask
the waiters for them. Muslim delegates take note that all meat are halal.
Friday Prayer
Muslim delegates can go to Friday Prayer between 12.15 PM and 1 PM at a mosque which is 5 minutes walk from the rear door of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Ask
the hotel reception or registration desk and they will direct you in this regard.
Best Paper Award
Best paper is selected on the basis of 1. Originality 2. Research Rigor 3.
Contribution to the body of knowledge and 4. relevance to current and emerging issues. The papers are considered on the basis of the evaluation by the reviewers and the assessment made by the members of the panel. Panel members will observe and assess the presentation of the short-listed authors and then report to
Dr. Zia Haqq. The name of the winners will be declared between 7.30 and 8 PM at Al-Dana Restaurant one on 29 April. Papers selected as “Best Papers” will be published in the Journal of Business and Policy Research. The winners will receive
an award certificate and fellowship certificate from the World Business Institute.
Conference Dinner
No conference is complete without a gala dinner. This year the conference dinner wil be held at Crowne Plaza Hotel at Al-Dana Restaurant . Please bring your Dinner Card to the Buffet Dinner which will start from 7.30 PM and continue until
10.30 PM. If you lose your dinner card, please see Dr. Zia Haqq or Mr. Tanzil Hoque at the dinner to avoid any embarrassing situation and we will take care of your situation. Please do not bring any friend or any person without prior approval
from us. A large selection of foods will be provided there including catering for special needs. Please come with formal dress.
Research Networking on 30 April
Research networking provides a great opportunity to interact informally with the fellow authors for exchanging ideas about research and for exploring opportunity to build alliance to undertake joint research and to increase publication. It involves
city tour during the day and cruise dinner at night. If you have paid for the Research Networking Via City Tour and Cruise Dinner
on April 30th, then you will be given a tour of Dubai city both at day and night time. The tour will start at 2PM SHARP with the Dubai city tour and conclude at 10.30PM with the Dinner cruise. Pick up point for this tour is at Level 2, Reception, Crowne
Plaza Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road. Please make sure that you are there by 1.30-1.45PM. We will not wait for any latecomers and no money will be refunded. You will be dropped back at the Crowne Plaza hotel after the dinner cruise. Details of
the tour are as follows:

Part One: 4-hour Dubai City Tour
This tour is an orientation of the second largest Emirates of the UAE, Dubai. We begin the tour with a photo stop at the Dubai Creek, the lifeblood of Dubai. Then we will drive through the Bastakiya, Al Fahidi Fort, Ruler‟s Court, Old Mosque,
Textile Street, Central Bank, Ministry of Finance, Heritage Village, Spice & Gold Souqs. Proceed towards Jumeirah Road passing by the Dry Docks Dubai & the Historical Union House with photo stops at the beautiful and famous Jumeirah
Mosque, the world‟s tallest 7-star hotel, Burj Al Arab, and the Tallest Building in the whole world, Burj Khalifa. Please take note that the above program is provided by the tour company and if there is any change of the itinerary do not blame us. This
trip does not include any lunch and you need to take your own lunch at your own expense.
Part Two: Dinner Cruise Tour
Enjoy a memorable evening, cruising along Dubai‟s Creek onboard our traditional
wooden dhow. Cruise by Dubai‟s illuminated skyline, offering sights of traditional and modern architecture. „Abras‟ (water taxis), old trading dhows, luxury yachts and modern architecture like the National Bank of Dubai, Chamber of Commerce &
Industry building, Sheikh Saeed's House, and the Heritage Village are some of the impressive sights to enjoy. As a good blend of Arabic and International music soothes your ears, a sumptuous buffet dinner with a wide array of
continental and oriental dishes, along with an excellent selection of beverages is available. Please take note that the above program is provided by the tour company and if there is any change of the itinerary or food or service, do
not blame us. Please check your envelope which you have received from the registration desk for pick up and drop point. We also remind you that no refund will be given if you are not able to join this program or you are late to board the boat or
bus as per scheduled time.

Review Report Unlike other conferences, we provide written feedback on your paper in the form of
Review report. This report will be sent to presenting authors via email within 2 months after the conference. Please do not contact us in between this time regarding review reports. However, if you do not receive them by this deadline,
then contact us via email: [email protected]

Publication of your Paper
All accepted papers recommended by the reviewer (see your acceptance letter point number 2 to know the name of the journal) for a particular journal will be
published provided that you have paid submission fee and complied to the review report, feedback at the conference and journal‟s guidelines. If you have paid submission fee, you are required to send us your revised full paper (after
compliance to the review report and comments, if any, you received at the conference) by 30 July 2011 via [email protected]. You must indicate in red ink the materials you have added at the time of revision. We will endeavour to
publish your paper within six-nine months after the conference if you comply to all requirements. No reminder notice will be sent. If you do not send your paper by 30 July, 2011 or you do not comply to the observations made in the
review report or fail to make your paper camera-ready as per guidelines of the journal ( please visit www.wbiaus.org to see the guideline of the journal you want to publish), your paper will not be published even though you have paid for such
publication. You cannot blame us later on for not publishing your paper if you fail to send us your revised paper within the deadline of 30 July 2011.
Those who have not paid submission fee but are interested to publish can make cash payment at the registration desk. The cost of Print and online publication is
USD $300 or for online publication only is USD $150. If you would like to pay at a later time, then please contact Nuha Jahan via [email protected] to arrange this.
