The room concepts were developed by the company’s US architects and planned and delivered to local standards in each location.

Our ability to deliver consistently across borders was recently demonstrated by our work on offices in Stuttgart and Milan for global organisation, Informatica.

Both offices adhered to Informatica’s worldwide standards and global brand guidelines. The room concepts were developed by the company’s US architects and planned and delivered to local standards in each location. Both offices successfully capture Informatica’s vision for a more open, mobile and communal working environment.

In Stuttgart, we created naturally-lit, high-specification open-plan offices with great attention to the colour schemes of the private, semi and

shared spaces. Colours on columns and walls match the patterns of the carpet and other floorings. The herringbone-patterned carpet rounds off the high-quality concept of the architect´s surface-and colour-design. Integrated glazed boxes with room-high windows are used as conference-rooms. See-through dividers, multifunctional furniture and pergolas define open meeting-zones, creative areas and seating-possibilities. In addition to the conference boxes, telephone booths were added to provide privacy if required. The project was successfully completed within three and a half months despite the challenges of the constraints of the existing building.

Consistently great customer service

We provide an outstanding customer experience by sharing our customer’s vision; understanding, planning and being flexible to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful project.

By developing an in-depth understanding of our customers’ business, and consistently delivering exceptional quality, we have proven time and time again that we have the right mindset, people and systems in place to achieve a world-class result.

The trusted partner across property portfolios

Over the last 10 years, ISG has delivered over 30 projects for this world-leading technology company and, as such, has become its trusted partner for international delivery.

Each project reflects the location’s local personality and culture as well as the customer’s unmistakable global brand. Our familiarity with the requirements of this customer, combined with our international expertise, has delivered outstanding results. Each scheme combines detailed high-level architectural design with state-of-the-art technical installations. We have created a range of bespoke office solutions, incorporating innovative theming such as aeroplane cabins, an underground train, quiet rooms with ceilings which imitate a starry sky, an elephants’ trunk as moveable seating and a ‘wine barrel’ room. A high level of flexibility and attention to detail is required for these unique environments.

With this customer’s focus on the wellbeing of its employees we have also created many fitness studios, cafes and professional catering kitchens within its offices.

Case study: A global technology company

Our customers can rely on us to deliver the same high quality, with skill and efficiency, every time they choose to work with us. That is why we say we are setting the standard for construction services.

No surprise then that we are a trusted partner for both global brands and local organisations and that we often work across international property portfolios.

We have delivered offices throughout Germany for Microsoft, including the company’s new office in Berlin’s “Unter den Linden” close to the Brandenburger Tor.

The complete finishing work on the 2,900 sqm interior was carried out in three phases: phase one saw the creation of a cafe and event area on the ground floor, phase two encompassed conference and exhibition rooms on the first floor, as well as office premises including start-up rooms on the fifth floor. This was completed on schedule for the official opening by Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, in November 2013. Phase three saw the interior finishing of an open-plan office space with communication rooms, lounge area and conference rooms that were designed according to the latest technical standards. Graffiti on the glass partitions by a well-known Berlin artist gives the innovative office interior work a beautiful finish.

To meet the high technical requirements for media communication and technology, the newest components had to be integrated into the interior design and furniture. The detailed strategy and integration of technology were particularly demanding here.

The historical building and its prominent location on Unter den Linden (with numerous tourist attractions and good transport connections) required a particularly elaborate and well-conceived construction site logistics plan.

After our successful fit out of the Berlin office, we have completed two further schemes with Microsoft in Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

No surprises

Our customer – a global leader in the petrochemical industry - relocated its German headquarters to the heart of Hamburg.

Due to our customer’s corporate obligation to guarantee a fixed move-in date to its employees, the tight construction schedule and completion date was non-negotiable. Our customer also operates a very strict security protocol and this required heightened attention to planning deliveries and the sequencing of works.

The project encompassed a strip out and refit to a bespoke design. This included the construction of a new reception area, several multi-media meeting rooms, a post room, bathroom facilities and an employee break-out area. In addition high-level media kitchens were installed on each of the five floors. Priority was given to the construction of the server room and the four IDF rooms to ensure these were handed over ahead of the rest of the project to facilitate our customer’s business requirements.

Achieving success through collaboration

We recognise that any construction work is an important investment for our customers and that there are considerable advantages to be gained by working collaboratively across borders.

Successful partnerships can result in more creative solutions, greater efficiency, added value, reliability and speed to market.

We pride ourselves on being a team player and are known for our open, honest, non-contractual approach. Little wonder we are framework partners for some of the world’s best-known brands.

Customer: Art-Invest Real Estate Management GmbH & Co. KGValue: 1,1 Mio EURArea: 1,200 sqmProgramme: 10 monthsCompletion: July 2013

ArtInvest purchased a 9-storey building in Frankfurt and refurbished the individual storeys in turn. Firstly, a marketing and presentation suite was created on the top floor, followed by refurbishment works for tenants on the other storeys.

As works took place within a fully occupied building, collaboration was crucial to its success. It was necessary to equip the individual office levels, the reconstruction of the foyer and the roof terrace during on-going operations. This work was tightly coordinated with the tenants and the property management, whereby a doctor’s surgery on the ground floor stipulated absolutely no disruption to their work. Especially challenging was the coordination and weight controlling of the transportation vehicles, particularly the building rubble skip, because the slab load in the basement garage is highly restricted.

We pride ourselves on being a team player and are known for our open, honest, non-contractual approach.

When we were awarded the fit out of a new office for an international cloud computing provider in Munich, the design specified a fun, vibrant environment to accommodate approximately 140 employees.

The scheme, which encompassed private and open-plan office space, a new reception area, training and conference rooms and ‘huddle’ rooms, incorporated a strong use of colour. This included a range of 31 specialist paint colours that were based on natural pigments. These were sourced and imported from the USA, then mixed locally. The colour theme extended to 18 different coloured carpets that were sourced, not only to complement the wall colours perfectly, but also for their high percentage of recycled content. The design required numerous joins between the wall colours and the various coloured carpets. Our strict attention to detail came to the fore here and resulted in a clean and crisp finish throughout.

A tailored solution for each and every project

We recognise that every project is unique and have unparalleled experience of crafting intelligent solutions to meet the demands of each individual customer.

Our experienced team’s engaging approach, coupled with a flair for innovation and collaboration, means that we will work with you to ensure your project matches your unique aspirations.

A global company moved its European head office in the heart of Frankfurt am Main into newly-built office space in the Opernturm on floors 15 and 41. On floor 15 a comfortable and highly optimised working environment was created with more than 60 flexible work stations, single and double offices and open-plan areas.

The European Board of Directors moved onto the top floor of the building. This floor, with a suspended ceiling height of 3.60m incorporates the very highest levels of finishes combined with bespoke design throughout all offices.

The boardroom for up to 24 people, several Directors’ offices, the Directors’ reception and corner spaces with ceiling heights of more than 9.00m create an exceptional landmark office.

Furthermore, the offices were designed to be one of the most green and energy-efficient spaces within Frankfurt, utilising a new type of ceiling construction and light installations.

Optimising space

We have a strong track record in consolidating and optimising space and creating environments that make a difference to our customers.

Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest difference, whether in terms of functionality, efficiency, or future proofing.

We can help maximise floor space through remodelling, undertaking structural alterations, or performing a total makeover.

Fiat, the core brand of the Fiat Group, stands for innovation, brilliant design and the Italian way of life. In November 2012 Fiat assigned ISG’s German team with the fit out of its new showroom in Wiesbaden. Within a short building programme, we delivered the new interior according to our customer’s specific requirements. The design by German architect Hamacher Köhler was tailored to portray Fiat’s international brand image. The project commenced with the demolition of part of the existing structure which had suffered water damage. Foundation works and structural modifications were made and new ceilings and dry walls were installed to bring the building up to a standard ready for the interior fit out. We undertook flooring, data cabling, as well as creating service areas equipped with car lifters. As a result of good planning and vigilance, we kept to the programme and Fiat opened its new showroom on time.

We realise that any construction work, whether major or minor, represents an important investment for our customer.

We also recognise that any schemes we are involved in are an important physical manifestation of our customer’s brand and play an important role in the brand identity they want to convey and how they want their staff to interact within the new space.
