Al zAyAni investment lAunches Joint venture with imerys
Al Zayani Investments has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with Imerys, the world leader in mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, .headquartered in France
The Joint Venture will manufacture white fused alumina in Bahrain from December 2013. White fused alumina is a fine grain used for abrasives, refractories, sandblasting and thermal coating applications and will be exported to the global market. The Plant will manufacture 45,000 mt of white fused alumina per year.
The project is being established in Salman Industrial City, Hidd. Gulf House engineering has been appointed to design and oversee the construction of the factory, while Abdulrahman Mansoori has been appointed as the main contractor.
This project will be another accolade to the Kingdom’s policy in promoting downstream industries across Bahrain. The decision is great news for the Bahraini economy and underlines Bahrain’s continuing attractiveness as an investment destination.
