Chi Lin Day Care Centre

for the Elderly

One type of community support service with an aim to

enable elderly persons to continue living in the

community.

Provides a wide range of services for the frail elderly

during the day time at the centre.

Chi Lin Geriatric Dental Clinic

Aim : The clinic is to provide a

comprehensive, quality, low

cost, and specialized dental

service to the poor, sick and

elderly.

Operation : August 2000

The dental clinic is unique with the following characteristics:-

Priority for the elderly, poor and sick.

Reduction of barriers.More time spent on each patients.Specially designed ramp.Specially trained personnel.

- Sponsored HK$8.2 million by the Hong Kong Jockey

Club for the set up.

- Recurrent expenses of the first 3 years.

- From 2003 onward, it has operated on self-financing basis.

Operation : September 2002

Aim : To provide low cost, but quality

medical treatment for elderly

persons and general public in

the district.
