COURSE SYNOPSIS

This course intends to provide comprehensive introduction to the different classes of industrial materials, their structure, properties and industrial uses. The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to a wide range of engineering materials, which are important to industry. Such knowledge will be useful to make an intelligent selection of materials for a variety of commercial applications based on an understanding of properties, test methods and processes

Those who are absent will get zero mark automatically. 5. Mark deduction for LATE SUBMISSION of assigment/lab

report/project. Zero mark upon failure to submit.6. No PLAGIARISM and cheating in reporting. Cite all sources when

using materials from any references. 7. Any information like cancellation of classes, change of schedule etc

only will be notified to CLASS LEADER to be announced within classmates.

8. You may come to my office during student CONSULTATION HOUR only. Please get my permission through email if you want to come during out of consultation hour.
