    Global Lot AttributesDescription

In OPM 11i lot was a global entity With convergence of inventory model in R12, lots could

in different organizations with different attributes.

This became an issue for OPM customers who upgradR12 and maintained lot at global level in OPM 11i.

Lot defined as Global should have same attribute organizations.

Note that usually you should generate a GME debug log and an at the same time.

    1) Within Oracle Applications, go to Profile Options

Edit>Preferences>Profiles, or from Production Supervisor navigatormenu select Others>Profile Options

    2) Query for the following profile options

    a) FND: Debug Log Enabled -> Set the User value to Yes.

    b) FND: Debug Log Level -> Set the User value to Statement.

    3) Perform the specific action that you would like to debug.

GME Debugging Continued5) The log files are saved under the util file directory (util_file_dir is a paraset in the init.ora file). To find the util file directory path specific to the envwhich the debug is done run the following query under SQL plus

    SELECT NVL ( SUBSTR (VALUE, 1, INSTR ( VALUE, ',' ) - 1 ), VALFROM v$parameter

    6) The debug log file has the following nomenclature;

Note 1400383.1 - How To Create INV Debug and MWA Log Files From WMS/MSCA Transaction

To generate MWA log files which show the user interaction with the mobile form:

Enable the MWA Server Log Files

    1. Locate the mwa.cfg file:

    In 11i: $MWA_TOP/secure/In R12: $INST_TOP/admin/install/

    2. Ensure trace is enabled in the mwa.cfg file. You should see trace level: mwa.LogLevel=TRACE

Also check for 'mwa.logdir' to be set accordingly

    3. Restart the mobile server and hit ctrl-X, see what directory is for the logging

    4. After you perform the transaction again, get the following log files from that log directory

    [port].INV.log[port].system.log

    * This diagnostic process will help us identify errors for mobile users whoissues with mobile pages from WMS and MSCA.
