EventIntroduction
Welcome to the 4th MEED Iraq Energy Projects Conference - the premier event platform for those interested in Iraq’s high reward power & petrochemical sectors.
Spread across two days in Dubai between the 21-22nd March 2016, the conference will bring together the key stakeholders from across the diverse Iraqi energy market to discuss the challenges of delivering (building, financing, resourcing & operating/maintaining) the ever-increasing energy project portfolio that Iraq’s pipeline presents.
Iraq currently presents a market of $351bn (MEED) worth of projects in the pre-execution & execution stage, making this the 3rd largest market after the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & the United Arab Emirates.
Furthermore, $90bn worth of these projects span the oil, gas & power sectors. These project opportunities, combined with the Government’s attempt to modernize & increase investment across the energy sector overall, ensure that the conference is an extremely unique opportunity for businesses across the GCC to get involved in Iraq, meet the stakeholders directly, foresee market challenges, understand project opportunities & discuss solutions to ensure investment security within Iraq.
