ISD is a civil engineering and roadwork development company dedicated to civil works and community development. ISD has serviced both public and private sector clients taking projects from incep-tion, through design, including permitting and construction.
ISD is also extremely proud to be 100% Bahamian owned and operated. We believe in a sense of community patriotism and are dedicated to providing employ-ment to local nationals.
In 2009, Bahamas Marine Construction (BMC) ventured into site development work including services on the Albany project, a joint venture was formed to de-termine the possible future business plan.
BMC Underground Services Co. LTD. (BMCUS) as the joint venture was formed specifically for the Albany project. The shareholders group consisted of Jim, Milton and John Mosko, Larry Treco and Godfrey Thomas. The Company manage-ment was Naveen Gupta and Daniel J. Picek.
Additional projects were pursued by the group and the decision was made to proceed with a new company which is Island Site Development (ISD). The assets of the shareholders for the venture are very substantial, more than enough to support the business plan of ISD. ISD independently supports its own working capital, plant requirements, bonding and insurance.
