LEADERSHIP AWARENESS TO YOUTH Leaders are not only born …. Can also be developed PMI Pearl City Chapter announced International Student
Leadership Day (ISLD) to celebrate on 03rd Feb of every year It is our aspiration to bring awareness to 4 lakh students on
Leadership by 2010 (We covered nearly 4000 students as of today)
This year ISLD was celebrated at Hyderabad, Guntur and Pune.
It is not 15+ years of education, the teachers and parents have to mould the students to take up the challenges in 35+ years of their future career. Leadership is the weapon and students in the age group of 12 – 22 years have to practice Leadership to prepare for the future challenges.
PMI Pearl City Chapter is committed to bring awareness to students on the power of leadership –VSR

LEADERSHIP PARADE @ HYDERABAD PMIPCC conducted 3K-Leadership Parade
on 3rd February 2008 at Peoples Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad, as a part of “International Student Leadership Day celebrations 2008”
PMIPCC partnered with ZTV(Telugu) as a TV partner and SFM as Radio Partner for this event
Prof. M. Rammohan Rao was the chief guest for the event and flagged off the Parade
There was tremendous response from various schools and colleges to participate in this Parade

LEADERSHIP PARADE @ HYDERABAD… Parade started from Peoples Plaza moved towards Jala Vihar and
returned back to Peoples Plaza covering 3Kilometers. Students, teachers, parents and also corporate people joined the parade Program started at 8:00 am and Prof. M.Rammohan Rao addressed the
gathering. With the resonance of Pledge taken by all the crowd parade started.

After the 3K Leadership Parade there was talent full cultural program.
In addition to the professional singers students and volunteers came on to the stage and made the cultural event more interesting.

WORKSHOP & INTERACTIVE SESSIONS@ GUNTUR
A full day conference was organized on 9th Feb 2008 as a part of ISLD Celebrations
Total Participants 135 (25 chapter members, 100 students , 10 faculty)
The Venue was Bharathi Vidhyapeeth , Pune. Dipti Trivedi introduced the chapter and importance of International
Student Leadership Day. Topics covered:
Introduction of Project Management from a non-IT perspective by Shreesh Patwardhan.
De-Risk requirements management by Jay Dholakia. FP estimation by Ronald Naik UCP estimation and scheduling by Dhananjay Dhere (new AI team member) Yatin Shingala on Critical Chain Scheduling method (appreciated by members). The USP was the same case study was used in requirements, estimations though different
speakers. The audience appreciated the practical examples used by the speakers.
Post lunch we had a panel discussion on 2 college project presentations was moderated by Hrushikesh Bornare.
The students first presented their project and we had valuable inputs from Rajish, Vikram , S. Ballal, Jay Dholakia , Srinivas Athavalye , Kartik Thakkar & Ronald Naik.
New ideas & Suggestions on project execution under academic constraints was appreciated by the faculty members.
