Mount HerzlIn memory of Michael Levin

February 27, 1984 – August 1, 2006This picture is from Israel’s National Cemetery. This cemetery is where all Israeli soldiers and leaders who have lost their lives are buried. This specific grave belongs to Michael Levin. He was born in Pennsylvania and we went to the same synagogue. Michael decided to join the Israeli army and become part of the paratrooper brigade. Michael was killed in battle.

MasadaThis picture is from the top of Masada. Masada is a desert fortress. When translated to English, Masada means fortress. The sea in the back is the Dead Sea and after that you can see mountains, but they are blocked by fog. Those mountains are part of the country of Jordan.
