Due to the latest update from the Premier regarding relaxing of the Covid-19 restrictions in Western Australia, gatherings of up to 10 persons are permitted on the proviso that safe dis-tancing is exercised. Editor MY RIDING BUDDY I am in the fortunate position of riding daily to Busselton and return. It is still fine enough to ride my BMW K75s, she may be senior in years, she is nimble and responsive, but still has the heart and ability of a young girl. I have a riding companion; he normally catches me as I turn onto the Tuart Drive. He can be seen riding in front of or behind me, he also has a habit of riding next to me. I trust him explicitly, as we ride handle to handle, fairing to fairing and knee to knee. He al-ways has a cheeky smile and gives me the thumbs up as he rides past. He sometimes pulls in behind me as we ride through the darkened tunnels of overhanging trees and bush. When we turn onto Layman Road, once again my mate is out in front, showing me a clean pair of heals. I keep pace but cannot overtake him, he shows me the correct lines and place-ment on the road. As we ride through the avenue of trees the shadows, we leave contrast with the sunlight flow-ing, flashing between the trees. It's like watching a silent movies from the 20's. As we round the bends near the mariner, my riding companion falls in behind me not to be see until the next day, depending on the weather. Doug Baker

PRAISE WHERE PRAISE IS DUE. As many Bunbury and Busselton members will know, I have had a heap of trouble over the last 12 months with my Yamaha V Star, known to me as “Big Red”. I now believe that all its’ ailments have been fixed, and we’re ready to roll again, once the Coronavirus will al-low us back on the road! The purpose of this paragraph is to give credit to the guy who took the trouble to find the cause of the problem, and ultimately fix it. Many of you will know the man I’m referring to as his Bunbury workshop is the go-to place for many of our repair jobs. Danny Attwood at Motorcycle Engineering, in the Halifax LEA took the time to thoroughly research the vari-ous problems and get them fixed, all at a reasonable cost. He will not give up until he has solved a problem, and his work is always top quality. I would encourage all IHC members to go see Danny if you have a issue, as his advice is invaluable. I can’t thank him enough. Richard Clark.
