We have studied what the words alike, different, and unique
mean. People who live in other countries are like us in many ways
and are also different from us in many ways. The things that make
us different are what make us unique! A persons culture is one way
that makes them unique.
Slide 4
What they eat and even how they eat is part of someones

What do they eat in India? There are many types of Indian food.
Indian food is often thought of as very spicy, but there are some
simple breads, sweet deserts, and milder one pot dishes that are
not. Indian food is often eaten with the hands; however, this
custom is guided by some basic rules. For instance, it is
considered impolite to allow the food to pass the first joint of
the fingers. The fingers should never touch the mouth directly. In
addition, only the right hand may be used in eating. Click on the
food above for more information on Indian food and how they
eat.
