FYJC XI ARTS, SCIENCE & COMMERCE

Jai Hind Junior College is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher

Secondary Education. The admissions to Standard XI are scheduled around the date the

Maharashtra State Board declares its SSC results. The admission process is centralized by the

Government and is monitored by the Office of the Deputy Director of Education, Greater

Mumbai. The whole process of admission is online, and all the students have to fill in the

admission form giving preference of colleges. Based on the aggregate marks, the category and

the preference of colleges as selected by the candidates, the allotment of seats for admission are

announced by the online system for open merit.

Jai Hind has reservation for Sindhi Minority students. These admissions will also be by online

process on merit, at college level

General Instructions for students/parents:

1) Entire process of admission is online & explained herewith.

2) Students /Parents are not required to visit college premises.

3) All admission is purely on merit basis and availability of seats. Sindhi Quota admission as per

availability of seats while open merit admissions as per as students allotted to the college by

Education Department.

4) All admissions are provisional till physical submission of necessary documents to college

when normalcy returns.

5) Kindly refer to subject tables for subjects offered at JHC. Optional subjects are offered strictly

on the basis of merit and availability of seats.

6) All the fields in all the forms must be filled completely and correctly. Any wrong or

incomplete information may lead to cancellation of admission

7) Students must click on ‘Proceed for admission’ when they have decided on taking admission

at JHC.

8) Cancellation of admission strictly as per the guidelines issued by the Education Department.

Note: Students who are seeking admission to FYJC Science and intend to take admission in

diploma course must inform the college on getting admission for diploma and must

get their admission at the college cancelled.

9) Schedule for annual fees for academic year 2020-21 is given herewith.

10) All the instructions of the Information Booklet of Education Dept. should be read & followed

by all.

11) Science: Admission to Bifocal subject namely: Electronics and Computer Science will be on

merit, at college level to those students who wish to take them.

Procedure:-

For Admissions to Standard XI Arts, Science & Commerce filling of online

admission form is required. Students are required to go to the link

relevant details in the form online. The Online Admission Form charges are

Rs.50/-

I) SINDHI MINORITY: From Monday 17/8/2020, 9.00 am onwards

II) Open Merit : Regular Admission Round 1:

From Monday, 31/8/2020, 10 am

To Thursday, 03/09/2020, 5 pm.

All further rounds as per the schedule to be announced by the DIRECTOR OF

EDUCATION.

Please Note:

The admission process would be totally online, and the admission forms are

available on the College website. The students must follow the instructions

carefully and submit a duly completed form according to the timeline/

schedule announced above.

For the security of your admission & payment of fees, it is advised not to

Step by Step guide to complete your admissions for Standard XIth.

Step 1: Go to the Jai Hind College FYJC Form Link:


Step 2: Register/Login with a valid email id and submit your online application

form by making a successful payment of Rs 50/- as form filling fees. You shall get

an application number here.

Step 3: The JHC ADMISSIONS CELL will go through your submitted form and

after successful verification shall enable the online payment option for you to pay

the requisite college fees. You will get an alert (via mail /sms) informing the

activation of college fee payment option.

Step 4: Once you get the alert, you will now have to login to your admissions

account with the same email id and password with which you submitted your

online application form.

Step 5: After logging in, go to the ‘College Fee’ section in which you will see the

total fee amount that needs to be paid online. You are required to pay the same

within a stipulated time frame.

Step 6: Click ‘Pay Now’ and proceed towards payment of college fees. Upon

successful payment, you will be able to print the acknowledgment/invoice.


Step 7: Students are required to present copy of the acknowledgement / invoice of

fees payment at the college office counter to get a detailed fee receipt once the

College re-opens for A.Y. 2020 - 2021. Schedule of collection of fees receipts

would be sent to Students by email/sms.
