"Look to the Lord in His strength; seek to serve Him constantly"
1Chronicles 16:11
Joyce Rohweller is a kind
and sweet woman who has
been a member of
St. Lawrence Church for 43
years, Once considered to be
very shy, Joyce has grown
in both confidence and
faith. Joyce has a deep love
and devotion for the Lord
Jesus as well as his blessed
mother, Mary. She believes in the power of prayer and
especially loves praying the rosary, a prayer that she is now
boldly willing to lead others in praying. One of her most
treasured possessions is a gift that was given to her by her
brother. It is a beautiful five foot long rosary that is hand
made out of black walnuts. Joyce proudly displays the rosary
on her wall and is quick to share its story with all who stop
and visit. In the Latin language the name "Joyce"
means "happy". Everyone will agree that JOYce brings joy
and happiness to all those around her. Thank you Joyce!
“My strength and my courage is the Lord, and he has been
my savior.” Exodus 15:2

St. Lawrence Outreach Ministry is in dire need of sets of dishes, especially plates and saucers, and also bath towels and wash cloths. In the winter there is always a need for blankets and other warm
bedding. If you have any of these items, please call Mona Kadow at 346-5124 and we can arrange for pick up. Thank you so very much! "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jer. 29:11)
Our sympathy and prayers are with Ben & Ashley (Fritz) Schafer at the loss of their daughter, Amelia. May God bring them, the grandparents, Dennis and Mary Fritz and the entire family peace and comfort in this time of grief. May they find joy in the thought of Amelia in the arms of our Lord in paradise.
