Dear Yvan/
The City of Windsor's International Relations Committee/ along with the office of the
Mayor/ is inviting all of our twin cities to visit Windsor in June 2017, to celebrate the City's 125
Birthday. During their stay we look forward to showcasing our wonderful waterfront parks
including the Odette Sculpture Park.
The Odette Sculpture Park currently houses the Billy Goat-Spring fountain sculpture
that was gifted to the City of Windsor by our twin city Lublin/ Poland/to comrflemoratethe
100 anniversary of the Polish Community in Windsor in 2008. This traditional symbol of Lublinhas unfortunately been out of order for several years.
On behalf of the International Relations Committee I am asking for comments from the
Parks Department as to how and if the fountain can be made operational during the time that
our friends from Lublin as well as those from our other twin cities are celebrating with us here
in Windsor.
Sincerely/
Fred Francis
