A Note from the Manager...Happy New Year!

The Oaks had a great December, hosting over 61 Christmas banquets and numerous parties in the Grill. The staff did a great job and were rewarded at the employee breakfast party at which time we handed out Christmas bonuses from our membership. THANK YOU for participating in giving to the Christmas Bonus Fund, it was appreciated by everyone!

Please note we will be closed Monday, January 1st - Friday, January 12th. We will be doing our regular spring cleaning, repairs, maintenance, carpet and deep cleaning. We will reopen Saturday, January 13th with normal hours of service.

I am excited to announce a new member of our staff, Mr. Chris Hardgrave, who will join us January 16th. Chris will be over all Food and Beverage operations. Chris comes to us from Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar where he has worked the past ten years as the Restaurant Manager and is a certified sommelier. Five years prior to Fleming’s, Chris worked in the Formal Dining Room as a server at Southern Hills Country Club. Chris graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science degree and is from Broken Arrow. He is married to Jennifer who is an Advertising Account Executive, and they have a son, Riley, who is two years old. Please welcome Chris to our Oaks family, we are looking forward to having him on our team.

Please make sure to RSVP for some of our exciting events coming up in January and February. We will be hosting a new event on Saturday, February 3rd. It is a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater and reservations are a must! Please see more details on page 9.

WinterizingWe would like to express our appreciation for those of you that store your golf

bag(s) in our Bag Room. Now that winter is here we are taking time to completely check all golf equipment. Each year we have a program which

we fittingly call “winterizing”. This service is extended to all members’ golf bags in storage. Winterizing includes the following:

1. All golf bags are cleaned2. All clubs are checked for name labels3. All bags are checked for bag tags4. All grips are cleaned5. Any major club repairs will be brought to your attention and handled as you wish
