Wei Wu Wei Weird and WonderfulBrett lives in a humble, colorful, painted up trailer located in lovely Makanda,Illinois. When not travelling with bands and playing music, he spends his time athome, painting. The folk-art influence in Brett's work is undeniable. Hisgrandparents collected works throughout the 1990's from artists like HowardFinster, Dow Pugh, Jim Lewis and many others, and he feels as if those imagesare permanently part of his imagination. Karen makes fun, functional,brightly and uniquely glazed,one-of-a-kind red earthenware pottery bowls, cups and mugs, platters and manyother wonderful ceramic items. Karen is most known for her very colorful work,but she also creates a rustic stoneware line, carried by 6Pence. She startedcreating in clay in 1999 and hasn't looked back! Karen has been living herdream of creating beautiful objects for people to use every day and she loves tobe able to use her talents bringing joy into lives via her pottery.

Stuff to know about us...A Brief History of Cristaudo's...Founded in 1977, Lorenzo and Lucia Cristaudo owned and operatedCristaudo’s Bakery, Restaurant and Catering for nearly 30 years in the MurdaleShopping Center. Throughout those years, Lucia and Lorenzo applied theirskills in the culinary arts to running other local eateries as well. In the late1990’s, Lorenzo took over sole ownership of Cristaudo’s while Lucia opened aconsignment and antique shop nearby. In 2001, their daughter Rachel and herpartner Nicholas Stewart took on operating and managing the business until itssale in 2004. After a taking some time away from the family business, in 2011,along with friends Leah Maciell and Jennifer Rollinson, Rachel and Nick beganthe process of reviving and renewing the local institution by carrying on theirfamily's traditions. In addition, each member of the foursome has a backgroundin the arts, the culinary world, or both, and their collective dream is to combineboth of these forms of expression to create an affordable, interesting anddelicious experience for others to enjoy.
