Change and transformation through Innovation & creativity (ICECTIC-2020)’ in association with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Jordanian Society for Entrepreneurship, Jordan. Publication partner for the same was International Journal for Emerging Trends in Engineering and Management Research (IJETEMR). The motive of the conference was to churn the minds of the think tanks to use this lull period of laid back due to the COVID Pandemic & the revival of the grey matter to achieve the brighter future for the young upcoming generation, who are facing the threats of unemployment because of the slower economic forces. The intended focus was on the searching of the newer opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship, the new areas of IT like Artificial Intelligence & also gusting the minds for peeping in the grey areas of the educational system & its limitations. Innovation and creativity drive ongoing improvements and may help unleash a new idea that changes the rules. Rapid changes associated with the technology provide the opportunity to innovate. Change might not necessarily bring innovation, but innovation surely brings change. Innovation and change are the twin engines of growth, competitive advantage and success in any field. Glimpse of the session 4 One Week STTP on Automotive Engineering & Recent Advances 10.10.2019 to 15.10.2019 Participants: 28 One week short term training program on “Automotive Engineering & Recent Advances” has been organize in virtual Lab on 10.10.2019 to 15.10.2019 from 10.00am onwards. The resource person was Prof. S.D. Thakre, Associate Professor Govt. Polytechnic Nagpur. In this lecture, Prof. S.D. Thakre introduced the term “Automotive Engineering & Recent Advances”, he explained new technology with the safety truck is an innovative concept that solves some of road safety’s biggest issues. Semi-trucks share roadways with passenger automobiles, and the disparity in size and weight leads to violent collisions, often caused by the difference in sight lines, maneuverability, and reaction times. In particular, semi-trucks and trailers obscure drivers’ views in situations including overtaking, sudden turns or braking maneuvers caused by animals or cross traffic, and wide turns. Samsung created the Safety Truck concept to make roadways safer for all drivers. The Safety Truck features a wireless camera attached to the front of the truck which streams its feed to a video wall made of four exterior monitors on the back of the truck. The monitors provide drivers with a view of what is in front of the truck, even when it is dark outside. This provides drivers with a view of the “open road” ahead of them instead of the imposing wall of rubber and metal that drivers typically see when driving behind semi-trucks. Whether deciding to overtake or reacting much quicker to potential threats located ahead of or beside the semi, drivers have much more information to drive safely behind Safety Truck equipped semis than traditional tractor trailers. Samsung has

developed several prototypes with large format displays and put the concept on the road with a local B2B client. Prof. Prakash Dhopte, coordinator conducted the proceeding. Prof. Anurag Karande successfully organized the program.

36 Workshop on "Recent Applications of Signal Processing-Case Study" 05.06.2020 Participants: 32

One of the session of the workshop One-day workshop on “Recent Applications of Signal Processing” was organized by Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering on 5th June 2020 during this COVID-19 outbreak. The FDP was organized through online mode. There are a growing number of micro architectures that employ pipelined array units for high-speed floating point applications. To obtain the performance required in such an application, effective loop optimization is crucial. The URPR method has been proven to be an effective, low complexity approach to optimizing loops in array processor programs, so we conducted a case study of method applied to a representative pipelined micro architecture based on the AMD 29500 chip family. The FDP was self-paced and required approximately 4-6 hours of active engagement per day. The FDP enlightened the participants and encouraged discussion leading to a better understanding on the development of smart content and virtual content to develop personalized learning.

This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was coordinated and managed by Coordinator, Prof. Nilesh Dhanore under the valued and able Guidance of Convenor of FDP, Prof. Sanjay Balwani, Assistant Professor, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and it has fulfilled its prime objective to bring the faculties of different engineering, science and allied subjects onto one platform to provide sessions on Signal Processing. The resource person is Dr. Vivek Nanoti, Principal, PIET, Nagpur. In this lecture, Dr. Vivek Nanoti introduces the term “Search Techniques for online E Resources”, he explain, you will learn various search techniques to help you get better results when you perform searches online. You may not need to use these techniques all at once, but you will be searching more effectively and efficiently when using these techniques appropriately. As with other techniques, you need to practice to be good at it. The more often you apply these techniques, the more proficient you will become. If you have any questions about formulating keywords or using search techniques for your search, ask a librarian! Using Appropriate Keywords for Searches The keywords you use for searches are extremely important in retrieving relevant and useful resources for your research. Here are some techniques and tips for selecting and finding useful keywords: 1. Use essential concepts. Don't use natural language. 2. Broaden or narrow your search terms. Some concepts are too broad for searching relevant resources while some are too narrow and retrieve few or no results. You will need to narrow or broaden you search terms depending on your research topic. 3. Pick up new search terms from search results. Some databases provide "suggested topics" based on your search. Those can be useful as well. 4. Use search techniques like Boolean search and truncation to combine search terms for relevant results.

5. Check your spelling. Computers are literal. They do not associate meaning or see any connection between related items the way humans do. 6. Use synonyms, related terms or alternate spellings to expand your search. Prof. Prakash Dhopte, Co-ordinator conducted the proceeding. Prof. Anurag Karande took efforts for successful organization of the program.
