Jigsaw Magazine is a project which looks to illuminate local artists in Northern Ireland. It is a platform for people to showcase their work and talent, to build a community and to come together.

The community we live in has an abundance of artistic relevance, and it is often overlooked. This proves local people can come together and create something beautiful, something positive.

The theme for issue one is PROCESS.

Retrospectively, it was

an apt theme for the first issue, considering the thought and work process required for the magazine to mould from a wistful idea into a real thing.

...

the cogs turning, the ideation churning, the wheel spin, the constants, the nonsense, the paper balls.

The drawing board, the hammer of keys, the type type type, the coffee granules, the grid manuals.

The rule break,

the punt fake, the double take, the double take.

The epigraph, the photograph, the aphorisms, the mannerisms, the idiosyncrasies, the illitoracy... s.

The right veers right, the left agrees, the hatch opens tall, the pennies fall, the process, the process, the process of it all.

...
