In preparation for the program we have prepared this orientation and arrival packet for your review. It is chock full of information regarding arrival, on site orientation, parking directions, staff contact information, performance details and so forth. Bring rain gear, the rainy season is upon us! STUDIO LOCATION Monday, 8:30AM at Miami Arts Charter School Wynwood. Miami Arts Charter School Wynwood 95 NW 23 rd Street Miami, FL 33127 This year, the Joffrey Miami program will have their housing location at Florida International University- Lakeview Hall North. The address is 11060 SW 14 th Street, Miami, FL 33174(North). Housing students will meet at the housing location every morning to commute together from Lakeview Hall via a Joffrey shuttle to Miami Arts Chartered School Wynwood. Joffrey RAs, chaperones, a nd faculty will also accompany the students during the commute. The Joffrey chartered bus will transport the students back to Lakeview Hall as soon as the class/rehearsal ends. The specific meeting point at Lakeview Hall will be announced later. Orientation and Arrival AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION We do not provide transportation from the airport. Both cab and Super Shuttle transportation is available at both Fort Lauderdale International and Miami International Airports. WEEKLY PROGRAM ORIENTATION All Resident and Commuter students must attend the Program Orientation at the Miami Arts Charter School Wynwood, each Monday from 8:30-9:00 (Parents are encouraged to attend). Please see the end of this packet for the campus map and VERY important directions regarding parking for pickup and drop off of DANCERSs on campus for commuter students. ARRIVAL INFORMATION Arrival times depend on whether or not you will be staying in our housing facilities. DORMITORY ARRIVALS If you are staying at Joffrey Housing on campus Lakeview Hall North at Florida International University, you will receive an orientation for the housing facilities on Sunday evening at 7PM after you check in. Check-In is every Sunday from 12 – 4 PM and checkout will be on Saturdays no later than from 12 PM. SCHEDULES AND CLASS ASSIGNMENTS Your group assignment and schedules will be handed out at the Program Orientation each Monday at 8:30 AM. All classes begin at 9 AM.

Dancers may not arrive at the Miami Arts Charter School Wynwood before 8:30 AM and MUST be picked up by 5 :15PM. Miami Arts
Charter School Wynwood has also reserved 30 parking spots for our commuter parents at the school’s parking garage. However, parents are more than welcome to drop off dancers at the front door of the school that is supervised by our intern and the school’s security guard.
