Quiet and economical

The 5015 cab has outstanding visibilityall-around, exceptional operator com-fort and easy access via right and lefthand doors.

The compact size allows operation intight, low overhead situations. Seepage 14 for complete dimensions.

Optional electronic hitch, available onall cab models, provides accurate andeasy hitch operation.

Experience a high level of comfortand control when you step ontothe wider platform of a 5015Series open operator station. Allcontrols are logically laid out andwithin easy reach. The platform iswider and uncluttered, with a lowtunnel and no levers positionedunder or between the operator’slegs.

The John Deere PowerTechTier II engine pushes out plenty ofpower. With a noise level of below86 dB(A), and isolated platformwith silent block suspension,operating noise is kept to a mini-mum.

Range and gear lever, rockshaftand SCV controls are located onthe operator’s right. The PTOengagement and control of theground drive PTO, are located onthe left. All controls are positionedlogically for easy reach.

Select either a vertical or horizon-tal exhaust. The horizontal exhaust(shown above) improves visibility,making this choice ideal for frontloader or row crop applications.

The fuel tank filler neck is easilyaccessible in front of the hood and lets you comfortably refill thetractor.

Choose between a two post, fold-able ROPS (Roll Over ProtectionStructure) or a four post ROPS.

The proven John Deere PowerTech engineis Tier II compliant whilst maintaining goodfuel economy. Our cross-flow cylinder headand unrestricted cool air intake helpincrease power and fuel efficiency. Andlarger fuel tanks mean more working timein the field between refills.

The PTO clutch and traction clutch, whilefully independent of each other, are com-bined into one clutch pack, resulting inmore reliable operation.

Powerful 5015 Series engines provideup to 33% torque rise over a wider

range of constant power to pull throughtough crop or field conditions without

frequent downshifting.

The 5015 Series tractors have thehydraulic flow you need to handlea wide variety of power hungryimplements. The 5415 and 5515have a heavy duty hydraulic pumpoption (60 litre flow capacity), pro-viding higher flow.

In addition, up to 3 SCVs areavailable which are perfectlymatched to the higher flow of thehydraulic pump. SCV levers in thecab have been repositioned foreasier operation. The flow divideroption lets you divert hydraulicpower to where you need it most,adjusting oil flow between therockshaft and SCVs.

HITCHES

These tractors are equipped withrear mounted, Category I and II,3 point hitches as standard. Hitchcontrols are mounted on thefender and quick couplers areavailable as an option. An optio-nal, electronic hitch control isavailable on cab models. It pro-vides accurate, comfortable andeasy hitch operation with perfectimplement control. The hitch liftcapacity has been increased, upto 26 kN, so you can optimise thepick-up-and-go performance ofyour tractor.
