March 2016 Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Spring Musical at Iowa Lakes Community College April 7,8,9 Tickets are now on sale for Iowa Lakes Community College’s spring musi- cal, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. This is an irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel’s favorite son. JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT will be presented April 7, 8 & 9, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. each evening in the Estherville campus gym. Tickets for reserved seats are now on sale by calling (712) 362-8345 or email- ing Linda at [email protected]. Mes- sages may be left anytime – day or night. Tickets are $13 for adults and $6 for pre-school to 12th grade and for Iowa Lakes students. NEW THIS YEAR – Dinner thea- tre! We have added to the theatrical experience by adding a dinner theatre to the Saturday evening performance. Din- ner will be Saturday, April 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the Iowa Lakes Community College Student Center. Menu includes Lettuce Salad / Relish Tray, choice of Prime Rib, Tilapia, Chicken Breast (must indicate choice at time of ticket order) Baked Potato, Green Bean Almandine, Roll, Drink, Dessert. Cost for Dinner Theatre and musical performance Pre- school through Grade 12: $23 ($6 for musical ticket + $17 dinner); Adults: $30.00 ($13 for musical ticket + $17 dinner). The last several productions have sold out all three nights so patrons are encouraged to make their call soon! The show includes over 60 actors and actresses, including college students, adults, and children from northwest Iowa and Minnesota. Performing with Sioux City Symphony

Beethoven’s Ode to Joy

For the 100th Year Season Finale Celebration of the Sioux City Symphony, the

Iowa Lakes Community Col-lege Chamber Choir will join

forces with the choirs of Bri-ar Cliff University, Morningside College,

Northwestern College, University of South Dakota, Western Iowa Tech Community

College, the Sioux County Oratorio, and the Siouxland Master Chorale to perform Bee-

thoven’s 9th Symphony. Composed in 1824, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony is consid-

ered one of Beethoven’s greatest works and is known as one of the best-known

works in classical music. The performance will be with the Sioux

City Symphony under the direction of Ryan Haskins, and it will be held at the spectacu-lar Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City at 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 16th. Tickets can be
