Trip to the Holy Land Our trip to the Holy Land, Jordan & Israel was amazing! Special Thanks to Pr. Bassam & Katy Abdallah who hosted the trip. We visited over 55 Biblical Sites, We Affirmed our Baptisms at the River Jordan were Jesus was baptized. Some members of our group renewed their wedding vows at the Church in Cana. We even had a surprise wedding there with Mark Allen & Patrica Rodriegez. There were many pictures taken, and stories to tell. Ask anyone who went to share their story. We highly recommend taking this trip There is another trip scheduled for September with Pr. Bassam Abdallah and Biblical Journeys if you are interested in taking a personal journey to the land of the bible.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY The Prayer Shawl Ministry group meets every Friday at 10:00 a.m. @ Mugs Coffee Bar on FM 359. This wonderful ministry brings comfort and support to those who are experiencing illness, trials, etc. They are symbolic of an inclusive, unconditionally loving God.
Men's Bible Study is underway, and is held on Thursdays at 7:30 in the Gathering
Place.The topic is 1 & 2 Peter.
ON-GOING EVENTS
SHADE TREE MINISTRY
Shade Tree provides food for the day laborers in Richmond and Rosenberg on Tuesday and Friday mornings. If you would like to help distribute food, contact Doris & James Goates. Sandwiches are prepared Monday and Thursday evenings at 6:00 (5:45) in the fellowship hall @ Joy
Sandwich making is temporarily suspended until the new kitchen is ready. We will begin again at that time!
Joyful Women Bible Study We will take a break through the summer, The Joyful Women Bible Study is normally held on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm.

The new flower chart for 2018 is up on the bulletin board in the narthex. Please sign up for the Sundays you would like to bring altar flowers in the new year! Be sure to list memorial/celebrations you would like acknowledged in the Toolkit.

Summer Sunday School
Sunday School teachers have decided that we will take a break from traditional Sunday School this Summer. We will have a special project in June and July, along with Camp Joy. Classes will resume on August 5th. Stay tuned in June newsletter for special project information!
Sunday School Appreciation Lunch
Will be held June 3rd after 2nd service, for all of our Sunday School Teachers and helpers!
Baccalaureate Celebration We will celebrate our graduates on June 3rd this year. All who have graduated since last summer are invited to participate whether high school, under graduate degrees or graduate degrees. Please let the office know,
