Create safety glass awareness, promote the use of safety glass and to prevent the

serious injuries.

Create energy saving awareness, promote the use of energy saving glass and to provide a

thermally comfortable environment to reduce the use of air-conditioning, thereby

reducing CO2 emission.

Ensure glass is specify to reduce discomfort of glare from natural light and maintain a comfortable acoustic environment for

occupants.

reduce environmental impacts due to transportation.

Rules & Regulation

1. This award is to give recognition to Malaysia architects for innovative, effective and practical application of safety and energy saving glass on building in Malaysia.

2. Open to all Malaysia Corporate Architects. Projects that have won previous 2S ARCHITECTURAL GLASS AWARD are not eligible.

3. The decision of the Jury is final and shall not be negotiated, contested, reviewed, challenged or appealed against by any party through any means or process whatsoever. The discretion of the Jury to make or withhold an award is absolute.

4. Submission forms are available at www.ksg.com.my and Architectural Concept. 5. There is no entry fee.6. Each submission is to have not more than 3 unmounted colour photographs

measuring 20.32cm x 25.4cm (8" x 10") depicting in part or in total of the glass facade/window/door of the building. A brief description of the design concept by the entrant is also required (not more than 100 words). All submissions shall remain the property of Kien Safety Glass Sdn Bhd.

7. Submission in soft copy is compulsory. Images should be in JPEG Format with minimum 300 dpi resolution and size at least A4 (21.0cm x 29.7cm) or above.

8. Participants may submit any number of entries, provided each entry is accompanied by separate submission form duly completed and endorsed.

9. All winners will be notified
