In today’s reading from the prophet

Isaiah, there is a guarantee that the

unleashing of God’s Word will bear

much fruitfulness in the world. The

Word of God will accomplish

whatever God sends it forth to do. His Word is

given to us as a gift to be nurtured, shared and

made to “bear fruit.” The question is whether or

not we are exercising good stewardship over God’s

Word. Have we been “fruitful” with God’s Word?

Have we unleashed God’s Word? Do we share

God’s Word or do we leave that task to others?

JULY 10/10 DE JULIO, 2011 SACRAMENTAL INFORMATION:

Baptism: Parents must be active registered members of St. Theresa for three months before they may begin the Baptism process. Baptism preparation classes are held in the Conference Room of the Parish Life Center as follows:

• Third Saturday of every month at 9:00 a.m.— Eng.

• Fourth Saturday of every month at 4:30 p.m. - Esp.

Baptism Ceremonies are held in our Sanctuary at 9:00 AM as follows:

• Second Saturday of every month in English

• Third Saturday of every month in Spanish

First Communion: Prepared and Celebrated in 2nd Grade (required to attend PSR at least 1 year prior to receiving sacrament as this is a 2 year process).

Confirmation: Prepared and Celebrated in 10th Grade (required to attend PSR classes at least 1 year prior to receiving sacrament as this is a 2 year process).

Marriage: The couple must be registered, active members of this parish for a minimum of three months before marriage preparation can begin. Please call the Parish Office to make an appointment with Priest at least six months in advance.

Anointing of the Sick: This Sacrament is available by appointment for any Catholic who is ill or entering the hospital for any reason. Please call the parish office to receive this Sacrament.

INFORMACION SACRAMENTAL:

Bautismo: Los padres deben ser miembros activos de esta parroquia por lo menos tres meses antes de empezar el proceso del Bautismo. Las clases de preparación para el Bautismo se ofrecen en el Salón de Conferencias, los siguientes dias:

ST THERESA TO PARTNER WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY_- HARMONY

HOUSE COALITION

We will be working with Habitat for Humanity on Saturday August 13, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This project is open to all parishioners and teens between the ages of 14 and 18. We need 20 volunteers to perform landscaping and punch out work to include painting, installing mail box. We need 3 volunteers to serve breakfast, provided by Martin’s and 3 volunteers to serve lunch, provided by Williamson’s BBQ. We also need a photographer. Each person volunteering will need to raise $150.00 dollars to be used for the build. Sponsorship opportunities are available but we would encourage everyone to raise the necessary funds if possible. If you are interested in this service project please contact Frank Moran at 770-656-9515. If you are part of Lifeteen please contact Jena Lanham in the Life Teen office, for further information, 770-942-9765 ext 4 or 678-823-1220.

If you are unable to physically volunteer for this worthy service project, but would like to make a financial contribution please write a check made out to Saint Theresa and notate “Harmony House Coalition” on bottom of check. Checks can be placed in collection basket and/or dropped off at the Church Office.

Estaremos trabajando con Habitat por la Humanidad el

Sábado, 13 de Agosto, 2011 desde las 8:00 AM hasta las

4:30 PM. Este proyecto esta abierto para todos los

parroquianos y adolescentes entre los 14 y 18 años de

edad. Necesitamos 20 voluntarios para trabajar en

jardineria y hacer labores de acabado que incluye pintura

e instalación de casillas de correo. Necesitamos 3

voluntarios para servir el desayuno, ofrecido por

Martin’s y 3 voluntarios para servir el almuerzo,

proporcionado por BBQ Williamson. También

necesitamos un fotógrafo. Cada persona voluntaria

deberá recaudar $ 150.00 dólares que se utilizarán para

la construcción. Hay oportunidades de patrocinio

disponibles, pero queremos animar a todos a recaudar

los fondos necesarios, si es posible. Si usted está

NEXT WEEKEND SECOND COLLETION

Next weekend our second collection is for the Saint Vincent de Paul Society in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. The Society serves in many communities and neighborhoods throughout the Archdiocese, where its members consistently reach out with compassion and practical assistance to people living in extreme hardship. Our gifts to this collection go directly to provide emergency shelter, food and clothing. We can, like Christ, serve the poorest of the poor who are among us through our wholehearted support of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a nonprofit, volunteer member organization devoted to helping people in need. Assistance, whether material, educational, emotional or spiritual, is offered to each individual with a spirit of compassion, respect and dignity. An international organization with members in over 130 countries, the St. Vincent de Paul Society has been serving Georgians in need since 1903.

La segunda colecta del próximo fin de semana está dirigida a la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paúl en la Arquidiócesis de Atlanta. Esta Sociedad ayuda a muchas comunidades y barrios de la Arquidiócesis. Sus miembros se acercan continuamente a las personas que viven

con necesidades extremas con compasión y ayuda práctica. Las ofrendas de esta colecta se utilizan directamente para proporcionar albergue, vestimenta y alimentos de urgencias.
