Chayo Cervantes Returns to WKAR!Weekends on 105.1 FM and AM 870
El Chayo is back starting Saturday, June 2, with his familiar weekend blend of traditional and contemporary Tejano favorites plus a mix of news and culture for the capital region's Spanish-speaking community.
Cast your vote for your favorite book of all time!Join WKAR and The Great American Read in sparking a national conversation about reading, literacy, and the books that have inspired and shaped us. The top 100 books of all time were featured during a two-hour special in May, hosted by Meredith Vieira. Read the books, vote from the list of 100, and share their personal connections to the titles. The conversation will continue September 11 in an eight-part television and online series designed to take a deeper dive into why these books matter.

"Be a Tourist in Your Own Town" was created by the Greater Lansing Convention & Visitors Bureau to showcase Greater Lansing's attractions, special events, and tourism suppliers to our local residents. WKAR will be hosting tours of its TV Studios from 10am – 1pm. Event Passports are available for $1 at the GLCVB office in Downtown Lansing.

Whatever story “growing pains” inspires you to tell, we want to hear it!
