Description:
It's the first Newsletter of the term! Sorry it took awhile, but it looks really nice. I'm hoping to get photo submissions and club reports turned in for coming months so the Newsletters can look really snazzy.

June Edition

Hello Dolphins! Wow, it’s

our first Newsletter of the

2013-2014 term! Sorry it took

until the June edition, but I

was the tech editor, not the

editor editor! So I had to get

trained in the making of

newsletters first.

I worked hard to make this

term’s newsletter format

look great! I hope all of you

appreciate the new look. I

sure do feel information will

be more fun to read on the

new format and I hope you

do too \(^_^)/

The new Newsletter has the

elements of the old one, but

I have made a design that

would fit our division better. I

hope to add sections for

photography and club

reports as well!

I feel I should introduce

myself now. My name is

Remy D’Agnillo, I am 17

years old, and I attend Mar

Vista High as an incoming

senior. I started becoming

really active and dedicated

to Key Club my junior year

and it has now become a

major part of my life. I

REALLY LOVE KEY CLUB AND

I HOPE YOU DO TOO<3

Stay GOLDEN

Don’t forget about our laser tag

fundraiser on July 14th, all of its

proceeds go to pediatric trauma

prevention! This money will be used

during fall rally to buy other LTG’s

and have them do whatever we’d

like (if deemed appropriate).

Remember to share all the

information that you’ve heard from

the DCM’s and emails with your

members because you were

chosen to serve them! Encourage

them to come to our DCM’s as well

and become more active within

our division! Also if you have any

questions about anything feel free

to email me.

I’m glad we’re able to start off

the year as such a strong division! I

know it’s a bit late but I wanted to

say I am honored to be serving as

your Lieutenant Governor. I hope

we’re able to continue to grow and

prosper and be able to compete

with the larger divisions in terms of

spirit and service.

Please remember to submit

designs for our new division shirts!

And maybe we can get v-necks this

year! Be sure to make it super cute

and everything so that other

divisions will be jealous and

hopefully buy some merchandise

from us. And we can donate that

towards PTP as well.

Also be sure to contact me if you

would like to help out with the

Talent Show and/or registration for

Regional Training Conference!

Thank you and have a GOLDEN

day!

Individual clubs collected

quarters for their design on the

walk. Different designs were

made from dolphins to little

girls. At the end, the donated

quarters were then donated

to Rady’s Children Hospital.

The Kiwanis family came

together on father’s day at

Petco Park in the front seats.

In the morning there was a

tailgate party before the

game. The ticket cost of $25

was in portion donated to

project ELIMINATE.

The Division

attended the

Kiwanis monthly

DCM and set up

different rules,

games, and a

raffle in order to

raise money.

Everyone had fun

over charging

people for the

amount ‘uhms’

they said, not

introducing

themselves, and

more.

For future Newsletters, please

submit any photos you have

from divisional events. Also,

you are encouraged to

submit club reports with

articles and photos from any

club event. Please send to

[email protected]
