The Young Swedish Singers
June 22 Concert at Zion
The Young Swedish Singers, a gospel singing group from Hässleholm, Skåne, Sweden, will present a concert at Zion on Sunday, June 22 at 7pm in the sanctuary, as part of their June 17-July 4 US tour.
No tickets are needed; a free-will offering will be collected during the concert. The Young Swedish Singers group was founded by director Birgitta Rosland in 1991, and comes from a very musical Lutheran church in the far south of Sweden. Choir members range in age from teenagers to young adults in their early 20s. This is their fifth US tour in twelve years.
The Young Swedish Singers' concert, sung mostly in English, will include gospel, hymns, and Swedish folk music. The choir is directed by Birgitta Rosland and the choir's pastor, Reverend Bo Johansson, will travel with the choir, providing spiritual guidance to the tour.
Pre-concert dinner and overnight hosts are needed for Swedish Singers. Check your calendars and consider helping with this great concert by:
Helping to cook and/or host a pre-concert dinner for the choir (approximately 60 people) with the Zionaires.
Hosting 2 or more of the Young Swedish Singers on Sunday night, June 22 after their 7pm concert at Zion. Pick up your students at Zion after the concert and drop them off at Zion on Monday morning. Families from Zion and from Buffalo Covenant will work together to provide housing for these great musicians.
Contemporary Worship
Russ and Beth Hane have lived in Buffalo for 25 years and are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in June. They have 3 children: Kelsey who will be a senior at Winona State University, Bryce who is graduating from Buffalo High School this month, and Alyssa who is entering 8th grade.
The Hane family has been members of ELCA Lutheran Churches for about 12 years, but just started attending Zion last summer.
We liked the welcoming atmosphere, numerous programs and events to choose from, and the staff. Our family feels truly blessed to be a part of such a welcoming family of believers at Zion.

How Can I Keep From
Singing?
Summer Sermon Series
This summer our messages will focus on the songs of the Christian faith. Some will be traditional hymns that have endured the generations. Others will be traditional hymns that are relatively new. Still others will be contemporary songs that are very recent.
I look forward to discovering the personal stories of the composers and authors behind the songs we sing at church. With some of the songs, the time in history, what was going on in the world, was very important. Other songs are shaped by the personal experience of the author or their denominational background. Some songs are grounded in a particular passage of scripture or teach a Bible story.
We sing the songs of faith because the songs have meaning, state something we believe, or say it in a new, fresh way. We sing the songs because we like them. But singing the songs of the Christian faith affects us in many ways we don’t really think about. The songs of the faith:
1. Restore our souls and refresh our spirits. Sometimes just singing a song lifts us up – inspiring us deep within, assuring us of things we need to be reminded of.
2. Teach us the faith – We learn theology, Biblical story and concepts and the content of our faith by singing these songs throughout the seasons of our life.
3. Connect us to the community – We are connected with other people, from throughout history, seeking to live the faith. Our common beliefs, experience, hopes, fears and concerns are uncovered when we song these songs and we are reminded that we are not alone.
4. Express our prayer that this will be true for us too. When our faith is tired, weary, wondering or wandering, the songs of faith say the prayer for us.
5. Ennoble our faith – Inspired by and reminded of what we believe, the songs of faith often give us courage to act and to live the faith we believe.
So join us this summer and you will say with us, “How can I keep from singing?”
Pasta Supper & Concert
Whether you've signed up to do the June
1 Buffalo Triathlon, volunteering, or

Women's Bible Study Series
Of Many Generations: Mary, Elizabeth, Lydia
Zion's women's ministry team will host a three session Bible study during the summer months. The study for these three sessions is written by Dr. Diane Jacobson, professor emeritus of Old Testament at Luther Seminary in St. Paul. She writes, “We are women of many generations, many ages, many places, and many experiences. We have a calling to come, learn, and serve together, as well as to rebuild, repair, and restore not only our own relationships, but also the world around us. To do this we look to Scripture for stories that take us into this calling. We look for stories of women who come together, women who understand themselves to be part of a multi-generational community and who have known both challenge and joy.”
Each month's Bible study will be held in the Fellowship Hall. Check your calendar and come to any or all of the sessions. Bring a Bible. Study guides and treats are provided. No charge for the study, but sign-up is helpful to plan for materials. Sign up online or at the information desk.
Session 1 is Tuesday, June 17 at 9:30am: Elizabeth and Mary, led by Amy Chalupnik
Session 2 is Tuesday, July 15 at 9:30am: Mary’s Song: The Magnificat, led by Mary Johnson
Session 3 is Tuesday, August 19 at 7pm: Lydia, led by Jill Davis.

Connecting With Care
Malted Milk
Dorothy Christensen was away, serving in the Women’s Army Corps, with the Signal Corps in Missouri, when her family moved to Buffalo in the 1940's, to a home that was in the area of the Discovery Center tennis courts.
Her brother, Art, and sister, Mary, attended school in what is now the Discovery building, and attended church at Zion, which at the time was just across the street in what is now the Assemblies of God church. Everything was within short walking distance. Dorothy joined the family in Buffalo after her discharge from the military in 1945.
On her first Sunday, she was invited to join the choir (her brother was already a member), so the following week she went to choir practice and was introduced to many who would become long time friends, including Ray Peterson, who had also recently been discharged from the military. After choir, it was the custom to go the Huber Hotel Cafe for treats. The Huber Hotel is now the Buffalo Hotel rooming house, near the library.
I waited on the front steps for my brother to take me but there were girls waiting for him. Ray happened to hear the conversation, and in 'Navy man fashion' said “I’ll take you for the malted milk!” So, on the steps of the old white church, I accepted and that’s the beginning of my story. By the way, Ray never bought the malted milk; a former choir member treated us both!
Dorothy quickly got involved with choir and the Sunday school program. She enjoyed Christmas caroling and working with the Junior and Cherub Choirs.
Music is a special part of worship with message in song; the words come back to you often in work or play. Church was a part of social life as it brought people together.
Young adults at the time were part of Luther League, and highlights of the year included New Year’s Eve and the ice cream social.
Ray and Dorothy Peterson were married in July of 1946.
The 80th anniversary picture of Zion that year is special to me, as it has many happy memories of family and special folks that made my part of Zion and its ministry so important.
We built our home and moved into it on February 14, 1950, we already had a busy life working together, blessed with three children (Gregory, Randine, and Bradley), and making everything a joy of life even the difficult times. Nothing comes easy without putting work and effort into it. The Lord gives you strength for the day.
Dorothy’s first job in Buffalo was at Campbell Abstract Company. Ray took over Peterson Painters from his father and uncle and it became Do-Ray Decorators.

First Sunday Musicians
First Sunday is looking for people who
play instruments to help make music over
the summer. Existing group members are
busy and occasionally have to miss
practice but groups find it hard to
practice without everyone present. At the
end of the summer you’d be free to go or
welcome to stay if all goes well.
Please contact Pam Freer or Sherilyn
Burgdorf for information.
Thank You Ushers
Many thanks to Darrell Anderson and Len
Bengtson and for their many years of
service as 8:30 head ushers.
Darrell and Len have been Zion's "go to"
duo for many years. They've trained in
new ushers; arrived early each Sunday to
make sure offering plates and bulletins
are in place; and greeted everyone with a
friendly smile as worshippers go into the
sanctuary for worship.
Can you guess how many Sundays these
two have worked officially as head ushers
at Zion? Submit your answer to the
information desk or to
[email protected] for a prize.
We'll give you the correct number in the
July newsletter.
There is an opportunity coming to be a
part of a Sunday Welcome Crew to carry
on the welcoming and worship leading
that Darrell and Len have done so well for
so many years. Contact Pastor Luke,
Sherilyn Burgdorf, Mary or Wes
Mahlberg if interested.
Living God’s Call
Deep Roots
Len and Phyllis Bengtson both have roots in Zion's congregation dating back to 1866. Founding members of the Carlslund Lutheran Church (which later became Zion) included Bengt Peterson, an ancestor of Phyllis and Nils Bengtson, an ancestor of Len. Len and Phyllis have known each other since childhood, growing up on almost adjoining farms, attending country school together at the original Carlslund location (now the Zion Cemetery), and Sunday school at Zion in town. Len was confirmed in 1959, and Phyllis in 1962, and they were married by Pastor Cornell in 1967. Pastor Cornell baptized their first child, Carrie, in 1969, and Pastors Blair and Folkerds baptized her three younger brothers, Kirk, Lee, and Jon. All four children were confirmed at Zion, and Len and Phyllis now have seven grandchildren, all members of Zion.
Len and Phyllis have been dairy and crop farmers just south of Buffalo for 42 years.
We get up early - 3:15 am - every morning and work together every day. And we still love each other!
Len has served on Zion's Property Committee, Memorial Committee, and two terms on the church council. He was chair of the building committee for the present church building which was completed in 1989. Len has also served as the cemetery sexton for 36 years.
Life at Zion is an ever growing family. I feel blessed to be a part of this ministry, both family-wise and community-wise.
To many, though, he is most familiar as the head usher for the 8:30 worship service for the last 15 years. Len filled the position when his brother-in-law, Richard Krause, could no longer continue the position due to illness.
I've enjoyed it immensely, having the opportunity to visit and talk with many people each Sunday. It's interesting to see how busy the church is on Sunday morning during the service!
Len retired from ushering after Easter this year, and is now adjusting to worshipping in the pews with his family.
Len has also been active in in farming and community organizations, including Minnesota Milk Producers, Minnesota Select Sires Co-op and the Discovery Elementary School advisory council. He is currently vice chair of Wright County Community Action. He doesn't have much time for hobbies, but enjoys woodworking.

A Mission Trip for Everyone
by Pastor Luke
Sometimes life is about taking the next
logical step. That was the realization that
the Global Mission Committee made in
2012. We were taking a big picture look
at the ministry and mission of Zion and
were excited about our partnership with
AKCLI in Zambia and our yearly
adventure to Jamaica to build and heal.
We enjoy our relationship with Redeemer
Lutheran in Minneapolis as our local
mission partner as well. We have mission
trips through the youth ministry around
the country that are instrumental in the
life of our students, but there was
something missing in all of this. Mission
trips were either for a select age range, or
for a financial cost of $2000 and up.
I wanted another option. No age limits,
and dirt cheap. Pretty simple criteria,
really. So was born our All Ages mission
trip at a cost of $99. This is a way to take
the first step into mission work without a
huge financial outlay and with a relatively
comfortable location like Duluth/Superior.
Last year 30 people participated in the
first trip, and this year Zion’s 45 reserved
spots for July 17-20 are nearly full. Last
year’s group included 6 year olds,
grandparents, and everyone in between
and this year looks the same. I can’t wait
to see how relationships are built and how
God uses us in the communities of Duluth
and Superior.
With the All Ages mission trip in our
portfolio, I truly believe that we have
something for everyone in regards to
global mission. I hope you can find your
fit and get connected in the opportunities
that Zion presents here and around the
world!
You're Good at That!
LifeKeys Class in Summer or Fall
People may tell you that you have a gift for something, or there may be a spark in the back of your mind about something that interests you. Take time this summer or fall for the LifeKeys class at Zion, and learn more about what energizes you.
LifeKeys gives you a chance to dig into who you are, why you're here, and what you do best. It will be offered in a compact retreat style on July 30-31 and a Thursday night series in the fall.
The July class will begin on Wednesday evening, then finish with a full day together on Thursday. Location is yet to be chosen, but there's no overnight stay required since the retreat would be at Zion or a local site in Buffalo. If you have children Kindergarten to 12 years old, consider signing them up at Zion Day Camp for Thursday. Cost for child care is $25/child.
If this summer's LifeKeys retreat doesn't fit in your schedule, consider the four week series in the fall.
The LifeKeys Discovery Course offers participants a structured opportunity to discover or affirm our talents, spiritual gifts, passions and personality — all that God made us to be. The printed materials use engaging stories, inventories, self-tests and other easy-to-use exercises, while the class time offers explanation, support, and just a bit of fun! Pastor Sara Vanderpan will be teaching the class. Please consider participating! Sign up now for the July retreat. Cost to cover materials is $20. All other costs are being funded by a grant from the Zion Foundation. Sign up online at ZionBuffalo.org/lifekeys.
A Great Big Push
Dave Tauscher serves on the Zion Church Council as a way of helping himself and others grow in their faith.
These past 2 years have been very eventful and quite an interesting time for Dave. He and his wife, Merrilyn, built and moved into a new home, joined Zion Church, Dave was elected to Zion's Church Council, and they decided to spend their 30th wedding anniversary on a Mission trip to Jamaica.

recall them from your Sunday school
lessons. So let’s see how much you really
recall.

Joy of Giving
by Dawn Schmidt
“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
(2 Corinthians 9:7)
All things come from God: love, grace and eternal salvation. The whole world is a gift of God, a completely generous gift. God gives to us because he wants to, because He loves us.
God has given us so many gifts, but none can compare with the gift of salvation. We have not earned our salvation; it is a gift from God. God’s grace is the ultimate gift, and we owe to Him the ultimate in thanksgiving. We return our Father’s love by accepting His grace and by sharing His message and His love with others.
Giving is a natural expression of love. Friends do it. Lovers do it. Parents do it. Even children do it. We give presents to those we love. The motivation for gifts is not because it is something we should do but because it is something we want to do. There is a connection between love and giving. Giving should come from the heart.
There are many things we can offer to those around us. We all have talents and skills. Isn’t there plenty of love in your heart to share it with those you care about? Isn’t there a smile on your lips to offer to those who presently think they’ve got none?
I want to share with you a really beautiful story I read a few weeks back about the joy and beauty of giving and the happiness that comes from giving without expecting anything in return.
A woman who was traveling alone in the mountains found a precious stone in a stream.
The next day she met another traveler who was hungry. The woman opened her bag to share her food. The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation.
The traveler left, rejoicing in his great fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime. But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the woman. “I’ve been thinking,” he said, “I know how valuable the stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious. Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me the stone.”
The woman smiled, “The joy of giving!”

Meals on Wheels in June
Zion is asked to provide three drivers at
11:30am each day in June for
approximately an hour of meal delivery to
households in the City of Buffalo. This is
a most rewarding activity and makes a
good family service project.
Consider which days you can help and
sign up at the information desk or by
emailing Sherilyn. You can also check the
calendar at ZionBuffalo.org/MOW.
If you’ve driven before and prefer a
specific route please request it when you
sign up. If you’d like to try it but you’re
unfamiliar with Buffalo, let us know.
We’ll find a partner for your first drive.

Marysville Worship Each summer (June-August) Zion offers members and friends
the opportunity to worship at our historic Marysville church. This beautiful historic country church is located among farmland on County Road 9
between Buffalo and Waverly. The worship service begins at 7pm each Monday evening, starting Monday, June 2.
Just remember … this is a little country church with no modern amenities :)
Services will be cancelled when severe weather (tornado or severe thunderstorm) threatens the immediate Marysville area. On evenings when
heat indices and high humidity are a concern, scheduled services will be held and worshippers will be encouraged to make their own decision about
attendance. Cancellations will be posted on the church website and on KRWC radio by 6pm.

A Graduate Blessing
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
Graduates, we at Zion are so proud of you who you are and what you have accomplished.
A blessing based on Proverbs 3:
Graduate, never forget the things that have been taught to you. Remember these things - store them in your heart - for they will enrich your
life and your well being.
Be careful to act with loyalty and kindness at all times! Practice these traits: write them deep within your heart. Then you will be able to live at peace with both God and people, And you will always have a good reputation.
Trust in the lord with all your heart; Do not depend on your own understanding. Seek God’s will in all you do, and He will direct your paths.
Don’t be overly impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord. Turn your back on the things you know to be wrong. If you do, you will stay healthy and whole, both in body and spirit.
Honor God with everything you earn and accumulate. If you do, God will bless you.
Don’t get angry or discouraged when God corrects you, When He points out to you the ways in which you have fallen short Of what He desires for you. Remember that He does it because He loves you!
When you set out your goals and plans, be wise. Think carefully about the decisions you make; Seek good advice from people you trust. Then you can walk through life without fear, and without stumbling.
Don’t be anxious about things that may happen in the future. Always remember that God is at your side, And that He surrounds you with His love and mercy.
Graduates, wherever you go, remember who you are and whose you are.
May the Lord bless you and keep you;
May He cause his spirit to shine on you and be gracious to you;
May He lift up His smile on you and give you peace. Amen.

What’s In Your Faith
By Pastor Kelly Chatman , in the May 2014 newsletter of Redeemer Lutheran Church
I recall the famous words from a recently popular television commercial, and I can’t recall the exact product it was promoting, but that doesn’t really matter. The memorable tag line from each of the commercials asks: “What’s in your wallet?” I would like to paraphrase the words from that commercial, and ask all of us: “What’s in our faith?”
God blesses us with the power to make a difference in the life of our community and in the world. As always, the question people of faith must confront is: How are we stewards of these powerful gifts? Or, in other words: “What’s in our faith?”
As members of this particular church and the Harrison Community, we have within our means a non-profit organization, Redeemer Center for Life, and an entire block of land surrounding our congregation. Within our means is the potential for new development which could provide affordable housing and commercial opportunities in North Minneapolis. Plans are set for future light rail stops within a half mile of our congregation. Together, this means we have the opportunity to develop housing which includes access to jobs throughout the metro area, without requiring the expense of a vehicle.
We can help create a future where the entire block surrounding Redeemer is filled with the buzz and excitement of business and new affordable housing for families. Imagine as many as 60 housing units filled with families being served by Venture North Bike and Coffee shop. Imagine the potential for light rail stops, within walking distance, providing access to jobs in downtown and throughout the northwest metro. Now, imagine that God is making all of this, and more, possible beginning with Redeemer. It’s in our wallet - I mean, it’s in our faith. In 1999, with the mission to be a beacon of light for the neighborhood, Redeemer Congregation established the non-profit Redeemer Center for Life (RCFL). It was that same year when, Milda herself, the owner of Milda’s, cried out for help when she was considering closing the restaurant, an anchoring business in the neighborhood. With a strong board, and leadership composed of members from mission partner congregations, RCFL was able to save Milda’s Café. The board of RCFL purchased the property to build the multi-use building, which remains today as a North Minneapolis anchor.
Currently, RCFL is aggressively seeking to develop the entire block surrounding Redeemer. The development plan includes as many as 60 new housing units, along with retail space for Venture North Bike and Coffee Shop, as well as green space. This is an ambitious project for RCFL, and it will require the support and prayers of our entire congregation, neighborhood, mission partners and our allies in public office. The development will need the approval of zoning, success with this project will require vision and support from Redeemer. I believe that through this project, God is providing us with another opportunity to answer the question, “What’s in your faith?”

Keeping in Contact
Zion is a big place, and sometimes things
happen in life that keep us from being as
connected to the community as we would
like. We would like to make sure that all
Zion members feel like part of the church,
whether they are able to worship regularly
or not. If you or someone you know is
unable to worship regularly, or would
consider themselves homebound, or are
living in a senior care facility, please let
us know so we can make sure you are
receiving communion and pastoral care.
We want to make sure all the people of
Zion are able to stay connected. Please
call or email Ann or Dawn in the office
with information as to how we can reach
you or someone you know that you’d like
us to include in our visitation schedule.
Thank you!

Harvest of Hands
In April, Zion volunteers packages 57,036 meals through the Truckload of Life food packing project. The Harvest of Hands committee is very grateful for all the help and donations that made it an awesome event. Everyone had a great time working on this project, and singing, laughing, and music could be heard throughout the morning. A very special thank you goes to Leon, coordinator at Outreach Inc. Kid’s Care; we could not have done this project without him.
Craft groups work on a variety of projects throughout the year in preparation for the annual sale in November. In June they will be creating small stained-glass projects as well as a larger collaborative piece for the silent auction.
The Tuesday morning group will meet on June 10 and 24 at 9am.
The Wednesday evening group will work on creating cards, envelopes, meet on June 11 and 25 at 7pm.
All are welcome at the craft groups, either to work on the planned projects or to bring your own projects and enjoy the time with friends. Join us for fun, fellowship, and a sense of accomplishment. Both groups meet in the Wilderness Room.
Crafters can also work on projects at home. Supplies are available for home projects. Contact Joy Arens for more information.
Harvest of Hands is an annual event held at Zion to feed the hungry in our own community and around the world. Proceeds of the 2014 sale will benefit the Buffalo Food Shelf and a global hunger project.

sales. Merrilyn has worked for Byerly’s for over 28 years, and currently is the FoodE Expert at the Byerly’s in Maple Grove. They have three grown children and three grand-children; daughter Jill; son Greg & wife Shehla, grand-daughter Riley, grand-sons Jack and Ben; daughter Lisa & husband P.J.
Dave & Merrilyn had a seasonal cabin on Lake Pulaski. They visited Zion often and found it to be a very welcoming church with a sense of community belonging. They built a new home where the cabin had been, and moved into it in 2012. They became members of Zion in February 2013.
Dave enjoys boating, fishing with the grand-children, and entertaining family & friends. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Lake Pulaski Improvement District.
I am a Green Bay Packers Shareholder, and while I don’t really bleed green & gold, I do ardently support my team!
Dave started getting involved at Zion by serving as a Sunday Host and helping with some Social Ministry events. He found them to be personally enjoyable and a wonderful way to help others in need in our community.
There are a lot of great things happening at Zion.
Dave and Merrilyn found the Mission Jamaica Trip to be a uniquely rewarding experience.
She helped with the Medical Clinic Team and I helped build a Jamaican “abode.” I didn’t think I had the skills to do this, but while standing on a scaffold along with Pastor Ted, I discovered that I was being pushed along by the encouraging support of the other team members and that I actually could accomplish the needed carpentry tasks.
While in Jamaica in February of this year, the Winter Olympics was underway, and the original Jamaican bobsled was on display at the airport.
As I imagined myself piloting that bobsled down the steep course, it struck me that everything, and everyone, it seems - needs a great big push at some time! There is no doubt the hand of God was guiding me – and you might even say - pushing me along on this journey!
Dave encourages others to allow themselves to be pushed into some sort of volunteer work, or committee service within Zion and the surrounding community.
I know they will feel the same as I do, that the experiences are richly rewarding, truly satisfying, and almost as much fun as sailing down an Olympic bobsled course - really “goose-bump” stuff!

Online Event Registration
The first place members will see the
effects of the transition to new software is
in event registrations. The very first
registration you complete in the
Fellowship One system will take just a
couple of extra steps … but will make
things so much easier for future
registrations and for the staff behind the
scenes. All future registrations will be
done through Fellowship One, so it is
important for every member with internet
access to create an account.
When you click any sign up link on the

When you create your account, the
system will send you a verification
email with a link to activate your
Fellowship One account, and when
you click on the link in the email, you
will be able to finish creating your
account.
When your account is fully created
you will be brought to the registration
page (in future you will log in to skip
directly to this step).

When Ray passed away in 1962, Dorothy finished out the contracts and closed the business down after about a year. After the three children were all in school, she opened her own shop, Interiors by Dorothy. She enjoyed wonderful relationships in the business world and was part of the growing Buffalo community.
Family members were finding their individual identities and it was a three-ring circus for me, but God has given us everything we need for the journey of life. Have faith! There’s hope! God loves you!
Now retired from all the hustle and bustle, Dorothy has been given time to think about her life, and finds herself grateful for the support of community, church, and family, and for the opportunities she has been given.
After 66 years as members of Zion, Dorothy could write a history book on changes in the congregation and the many ministries she has been part of, including Luther League, Sunday school, Ladies Aid, Women’s Missionary Society, Miriams, and Lutheran Brotherhood, but she has a special place in her heart for music and choirs.
(Dorothy Peterson continued from page 5)
Beth quickly found ways to get involved at Zion. She has served as a 7th grade girls’ Confirmation Guide this year, performed in the talent show fundraiser for the youth group, sung in the Zion Choir for the Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service, and has volunteered for some outreach service projects throughout the year.
Music and especially piano is Beth’s passion, and she teaches over 20 piano students out of her home on a weekly basis. She has been a part of worship teams and choirs for most of her life. She has a long history of playing and leading worship with Russ and Mitch Weinzetl and they have been enjoying leading worship together at Zion’s 9:45am Family Express worship service together since last October.
You will notice that we choose current and familiar songs, but we also repeat them frequently to allow for people to really get to know them. Participation from the congregation is important to us.
In that time, Beth has enjoyed getting to know some other members of Zion who have joined them in singing and sharing their various musical talents, and has appreciated the opportunity to work with them.
The 9:45 Family Express worship service in Trinity Hall is a service full of energy, with a focus on families with small children.
A little-known fact about this service, though, is that it still gives a condensed adult sermon, so the whole family leaves there each week having all been enriched in many ways. We invite you to check out this service over the summer!
Beth also enjoys travelling to warm places, gardening, cooking, planning parties and spending time with family and friends at the pool in her backyard.
