STAFF A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR MATT It is music to my ears: hammers rapping, diesel shovels groaning, all rich in the smell of fresh pine timber. Sure, it is a little clumsy moving room to room with all this reconstruction but the beauty of this plan and the life of this community engage the senses in every way. Thank God for the our Mission Builders and our faithful volunteers. We are about to shift up another gear for involvement so watch the volunteer board both at Crownofglory.org and in the entry for clues on what we need next. Most congregations in their early days function with no building at all, just a trailer full of supplies. Thanks be to God and the ingenuity and patience of this building team that will eventually have a facility to be proud of. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY VBS CAMP COUNSELORS: We are in need of hosts for our vacation bible school teachers. They are arriving on Sunday evening, June 14th and need a place to call home for the week (they leave after VBS on Friday afternoon). Please consider this opportunity! CONFIRMATION MINISTRY JUNE 2015 CONFIRMATION MINISTRY The Confirmation program is now in recess for the summer! Parents and students please remember to check out our youth activities happening throughout the summer! 2014 CONFIRMATION YEAR-END CELEBRATION THANKS! Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Confirmation program such a huge success and awesome experience for our youth! Thanks to our adult leaders, volunteers, dinner coordinator and everyone who helped make this year special! Have a great summer! CONFIRMATION YEAR END PROGRESS REPORTS: SUMMER REMINDER All Confirmation students are expected to complete at least 20 worship notes throughout the program year. Students will receive their final progress report during the month of June. Worship notes are located just outside the sanctuary in the narthex area. Confirmation students have until August 31, 2015 to fulfill their 20 worship notes! 8TH GRADE CONFIRMATION REMINDER 8th GRADE CONFIRMATION YOUTH: GREEN LAKE FAITH RETREAT Attention all current 8th Grade Confirmation youth our Faith Retreat at Green Lake Bible Camp from Friday, August 21 - Sunday, August 23. This retreat is in preparation for each students Affirmation of Faith service held on Confirmation Sunday. Confirmation Sunday will be held on Sunday afternoon on October 25, 2015! Please reserve these dates on your calendar! REGISTRATION FOR GREEN LAKE CONFIRMATION CAMP! Confirmation Camp dates are set for Sunday June 21, 2015—Friday June 26, 2015! All Crown of Glory Confirmation students are expected to attend camp at least once prior to 9th grade. Crown of Glory offers a partial scholarship to each family to help supplement the cost of camp. NOTE: Confirmation students may choose to attend a different camp and still receive a congregational scholarship!

FAITHFUL KNOTTERS The quilters meet on Monday afternoons from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the home of Barb Meyers, 1230 Vernon Drive Carver, MN. We would love to have more people join our group to either sew or tie knots. We have quite a few quilts ready to give to someone in need. BUILDING COMMITTEE NEWS BUILDING EXPANSION PROJECT UPDATE Mission Builders: We are in need of dinner hosts for our wonderful Mission Builder crew. Hosting may be done in your home or at the church for an evening of "getting to know our resident builders a bit better".
