The farmers had severalpertinent observations. Onesuch was the matter of propertransportation of water, and pe-titions regarding land. Thesemen were also very concernedabout their animals that walkaround loose in the NationalPark. They were afraid thatthese animals may be hurt byPark Rangers. The Minister as-sured them that their livestockwill never be hurt. While thecommission is being formed todeal with that situation, there isan agreement that no harmmay come to their animals.

Reportedly, the farmers andagriculturists were happy tohave met with the Minister andwere satisfied with the infor-mation and assurances re-ceived.

Lactation:This is the period during

which animals produce milk.Good nutrition is vitally im-portant during the productionof milk. A healthy milk-pro-ducing breed of Goats that arewell fed, and drink clean waterdaily, will produce excellentmilk for a rather long period.

Depending on the particularbreed of Goat, the lactation pe-riod varies between 6 to 9months, providing of course theGoat is milked properly. Goatsmust be milked every 12 hoursbased on a regular routine andpreferably at the same timeeach time and preferably by thesame person, the same locationand same sequence. This willguarantee a higher production.

Pasteurization and bottling:Before the milk is boiled, it

must be filtered. A coffee filtermay be used or some other finecloth to remove whatever de-bris or hair from the milk. After filtering, the milk mustbe boiled to 100 degrees Cel-sius. The boiling/pasteuriza-tion process is to reduce thepossibility for bacteria to beginto multiply and subsequentlycontaminate the milk. Unpas-teurized milk can be refrige -rated for more or less 72 hours, while pasteurized milk, pro -perly sealed in a bottle can lastup to three and a half weeks.

PIEDRA PLAT -- Santa Rosa,Aruba’s dynamic agriculturaldepartment and live-stock andfisheries farm has announcedthat they now have fresh Goatmilk for sale to the public.

This is an excellent momentto share some relevant infor-mation about the health pro -perties of Goat milk. SantaRosa has compiled and pub-lished some of this informationfor our esteemed readership.

Goat milk (in Papiamento:Lechi di Cabrito) has a muchhigher percentage of proteinand calcium than that found inCow’s milk. This is excellentfor hair growth and good mus-cles, and boosts energy, whilethe calcium is good for bonehealth and for strong andhealthy teeth. A well nourishedGoat produces milk containingall the essential vitamins andminerals. The particles of fat inthe Goat’s milk are muchsmaller than that found inCow’s milk which makes Goatmilk digestible much faster.

Goat milk is good foreveryone, but especially goodfor babies, small children, andseniors, as well as for thosesuffering from an acidic sto -mach. One or two Goats cansupply an entire family of fivewith sufficient milk.

One liter of Goat milkcontains the following:- all the protein a child needs

up to age 6.- 60% of all the protein that a

The exactprocess is documented in thepatient’s dossier so everyonemay know what is the routeeach must follow and exactlywhen.

Back in December 2011 theHospital began working witha form that describes the clin-ical care route. The hospitalstaff gladly welcomed thissystem and indicated that itmeant a significant improve-ment of patient care. The gen-eral reaction was...”we needmore clinical routes for otherpatient groups in the hospital.”In essence, this means thatthere is a significantly im-proved coordination betweenhospital and medical profes-sionals. What’s more, the pa-tient has a better view of thecare he is receiving from thehospital.

WASHINGTON (AFP) -Facebook is working on tech-nology that would permit chil-dren under the age of 13 to usethe social network site withparental supervision, peoplefamiliar with the effort saidMonday.

Facebook currently re-quires members to be at least13, but the new effort is beingmade because many childrenlie about their age to get ac-cess Facebook and its 900 mil-lion members, a source toldAFP.

A Facebook spokesmantold AFP no decision has beenmade on any policy change.

But a statement from thespokesman said the Californiacompany was exploring waysto handle children using Face-book.

"Many recent reports havehighlighted just how difficultit is to enforce age restrictionson the Internet, especiallywhen parents want their chil-dren to access online contentand services," the statementsaid.

"We are in continuous dia-logue with stakeholders, regu-lators and other policymakersabout how best to help parentskeep their kids safe in anevolving online environment."

The effort by Facebook toallow younger children, firstreported by the Wall StreetJournal, would use technologyto allow parents to determinewho their children can friendand what applications theycould use.

The report noted that thatmany youngsters lie abouttheir age, putting the companyin an awkward position re-garding a federal requirementto obtain parental consent be-fore collecting personal data.

The Journal said the movemay exacerbate privacy con-cerns about the massive socialnetwork, but that the companyhas little choice but to lookinto ways to establish controlsthat would take into accountthe site's use by younger chil-dren.

A source familiar with theeffort said Facebook wouldcomply with laws in theUnited States and other coun-tries on child protections. These laws vary for country tocountry, with some being sim-ilar to US law and others hav-ing no law on online use byminors.

With the quartet of Borus-sia Dortmund midfielderMario Goetze, Arsenal de-fender Per Mertesacker, Laziostriker Miroslav Klose andSchweinsteiger all returningfrom recent injuries, Loew stillhas a few decisions to make.

Should Schweinsteiger failto be fit in time, Bayern team-mate Toni Kroos is most likelyto partner Real Madrid's SamiKhedira in the defensive mid-field role.

Loew has promised hisplayers an intense week oftraining with Holland andDenmark still to come inGroup B after Portugal andseveral thousand German fansexpected to watch Mondayevening's training sessionhere.

Having flown the Germansfrom Frankfurt to Gdansk inone of Lufthansa's flagshipBoeing 747-8s, pilot PeterHaenzel said he hoped hecould also fly them home asEuropean champions.

"When this happens, weoffer the remaining tickets tothe opponent, so they can takemore. And then if there arestill some available -- obvi-ously not in the same sector --which is the case, we put themon sale to the general public,"said Giordano.

Among the other matcheswhich had yet to sell out onMonday were France's June 15game against Ukraine inDonetsk and les Bleus' June 19Sweden fixture in Kiev.

There were still ticketsavailable for Holland's June 9match with Denmark and June17 game with Portugal, both inthe eastern city of Kharkiv.

In Ukraine's fourth venue, the western city of Lviv, therewere tickets for Portugal'smatches with Germany andDenmark, on June 9 and 13 re-spectively, and for Denmarkversus Germany on June 17.

"At every single tourna-ment, you always have severalnational associations who donot take their full allocation,"said Giordano.

were just behind those two butneeded to step up from beingperennial contenders, said hefelt that England would suffermore from the absence fromstriker Wayne Rooney in theirfirst two games - he is sus-pended - than the sudden de-parture of coach FabioCapello in February.

Capello, who had guidedEngland to the finals after adisappointing performance atthe World Cup finals, hassince been replaced by thewell-travelled Roy Hodgson.

"I think that the absence ofRooney for the first twogames is much more of ahandicap than the departure ofCapello. Rooney is one of thebest players in the world."

Platini, who has been in hispresent post since 2007, saidthat obviously it would be bet-ter for the host countries tostay in the competition as longas possible in order to keeplocal interest burning.

"We have to be neutral, usthe organisers. When the localteam is in the competition fora long time, there is a better at-mosphere, more passion, thatis true, it is a fact.

PARIS (AFP) - Holders Spainand Germany are likely to bat-tle out the Euro final for a sec-ond successive time UEFApresident Michel Platini toldAFP in an exclusive interview.

The 56-year-old - who hashad to put up with criticalheadlines ahead of the kick-off on June 8 over fears ofracism and claims of poorticket sales in both host coun-tries Poland and Ukraine - ex-plained the Spanish and theGermans had that bit extrathan their 14 other rivals.

"In terms of favourites, I al-ways make the difference be-tween those who can win andthose who are difficult tobeat," said the former Frenchfootball great, who still holdsthe record for goals scored ina Euro - nine in the 1984 edi-tion which the French won.

"I would put Germany andSpain in the first category andin the second one practicallyall the other teams, becauseplaying against Denmark, Por-tugal, Italy and France will betough, one shouldn't forgetthat Greece won in 2004."

Platini, who coachedFrance at the 1992 Euroswhere they failed to impress, highlighted where he felt theGermans and the Spanish hadthe aces over their rivals.

"Spain has huge experi-ence, Germany is a littleyounger, and is hungry forsuccess," said Platini.

"Spain would like to retaintheir title with an outstandinggeneration of players.

"We will see extraordinarymatches with teams who camethrough qualifying withoutdropping a point, and withplayers that are extremelystrong.

"But is not for nothing thatthey (Spain) have already wonit."

High accommodationprices and transport headacheshave been blamed for a fall inthe number of usually ardentEngland fans.

"It is hard to get flights toKiev, with prices at a pre-mium, while the distances be-tween venues is huge andthere is the cost involved intravelling those distances. Thehotel prices have also beenhugely inflated," England'sFootball Supporters Federa-tion spokesman Kevin Milestold the BBC.
