Page 10: Justification by Faith Alone

Being in Christ, is to accept Christ as our substitute, it is Christ who gives us his righteousness, gives us his forgiveness, saves us from death, erases our sins and gives us the right to enter to heaven.

II. INTERACTION: GOD AND THE BELIEVER

What does “being justified by faith in Christ mean?“And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith” Fil 3:9

Page 12: Justification by Faith Alone

Faith is the means by which we cling to Christ and on his works in our favor. We are not justified by our faith, but by the faithfulness of Christ to us which, we claim by faith. Then God gives us His imputed and imparted righteousness

III. CHRIST IN THE BELIEVER

•What does “Christ lives in me” mean to Paul?“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Gal 2:20

Page 14: Justification by Faith Alone

Christ in the believer is the imparted righteousness of Christ in the believer; it is the process of sanctification, it is to walk with God, it reveals our suitability for heaven. This walk is feeding on the word of God, pray and share salvation with others.

Page 16: Justification by Faith Alone

CONCLUSION• Mathematically we can illustrate: "A line is a sum of points, “written with a pen by the

teacher. Thus we can say, sanctification is a sum of justifications made by the author and finisher of our faith: Jesus
