k-life is a faith-based ministry with the sole mission of impacting kids/families for Christ.

Current studies reveal that over 60% of today’steenagers are walking away from the church, andin many cases, their faith as well. the potentialramifications of an epidemic like this over the next20-30 years could be staggering if we don’t act nowand with great purpose.

k-life’s solution to this problem is to build quality,authentic relationships with kids, allowing these relationships to be the context for bringing truthto bear on their lives.

Dear friend,

What an adventure it is to ‘walk by faith and not by sight’. The past year for us would best be summed up by the word “transition”. In January my long-time Executive Assistant decided to move on and pursue her accounting career. In March we were excited to start TWO new K-Life chapters, Vilonia, AR and Dumas, TX. In May we lost our long-time V.P. of Operations, our V.P. of Development, our Director of Communications and two Regional Directors. however, We were blessed to replace them with high quality people over the summer. We also replaced 20 of our field staff in August. Our ministry, by nature, faces regular turnover and so we sought to walk by faith through these personnel challenges.

In the midst of this adventure with staff changes and growth, we found ourselves losing traction in the area of fundraising. In August we ventured out in faith again and appealed to you in an effort to bring some financial stability to the operations of our ministry. As He has done for more than 30 years the Lord was pleased to open His storehouse and provide awesome financial stability that was so very needed.

There are other examples of the faithfulness of God in this ministry as we reflect on the past year, but suffice it to say that we believe He has given us His favor and we are excited about where we are headed in the future because of what He has shown us in the recent past.

At our core, we have been a ministry that seeks to be used to bring about transformation in the lives of kids and families, through the content of God’s Word found in the context of relationships. This past year we spent over 230,000 hours with more than 12,500 kids. Over 800 volunteers helped our 75 full-time staff in our 38 different chapters across the country.

We hope that this annual report gives you a glimpse of all that the Lord has done through K-Life over the past year and you will be compelled to continue your partnership with us in the years to come.
