    K-SYSTEM THE MOST TRUSTED NAME

With its convincing advantages from the planning to the service of your asset our K-System

guarantees a reliable and economical signal transmission between your field devices and the control

system. The flexible, demand-oriented possibilities of installation from the single module to the

system solution for the building of a large scale plant characterise the K-System. For intrinsic safety

applications, the control and field circuits are galvanically isolated from one another.

For Non-IS applications, the K-System provides cost optimised versions without Ex-Protection.

    THE SYSTEM MECHANICS

    User-friendly:

Modular housing with removable screw terminals

    Handles thick and thin:

Appropriate to conductor profiles up to 2.5 mm/14 AWGSaves time and costs:

Voltage supply and collective fault message via Power Rail

    Secure:

Flame resistant according to UL94 V-0

    Compact:

Width of standard housing from 12.5 mm up to 40 mm

    Adaptive:

Location independent vertical or horizontal mounting,

since no ventilation slots are necessary

    From cold to hot:The K-System can be operated from -20 C to +60 C

Pepperl+Fuchs is the leading supplier of intrinsic safety barriers in the world and our K-System line of isolators

supports this fact. K-System is easy to specify, integrate and expand and has become synonymous with safety

and reliability. Our extensive line of isolators contains over 150 different models, each containing industry leadingfeatures and benefits.

The 12.5 mm KC-Modules as the well-proven 20 mm barriers of the KF-Modules contain the characteristics of the

K-System. This collection provides you a wide range of interface barriers, which you can combine individually on

    the Power Rail.
