Psalm 100:2 It is a verse that we teach each kindergarten student, and yet 21 other Bible verses contain the phrase "serve the Lord". One verse says to "serve the Lord with fear", and is written by the same man in Psalms 2:11. And even though Romans 12:1,2 show us that serving Him with our whole life is actually our resonable service, God tells us that this service can be done with gladness. I trust that we are teaching our students at JCA to serve God, but we are also trying to get our students to be glad that they get to serve God. Though it takes them from family, friends, country and often civilization.....the Shelby Family is some of the happiest folks you will ever meet. A sad servant is a sorry servant.
