A number of actions to su pport gre ater participation in cyc ling and walk ing for ever y day tr av el are now un der way as we impl ement CAPS an d we wi ll cont inue to devel op polic y in t his area. We wi ll als o con tin ue to inve st in the Natio nal Cyc le Net work thr ough gra nt fun di ng to Sustrans, and to Cycling Sco tla nd to promote cycling in a ra nge of different way s. We al so cont inue to sup por t loc al auth ori tie s thr oug h the Cyc lin g, Wal kin g, and Safe r Str eets (CWSS) gra nt funding regime, whi ch enables the development of projects which promote cyc ling and w al king, including provision of cy cle lanes and other measures suc h as adva nced stop lines .
