Both of the students have worked very hard to get to such a high level of representation and deserve to be recognised as outstanding young people. Well done! Please remember that this term we require all students to wear a school hat at all times while outside. We have given a hat previously to all children who did not have one and we therefore expect all children to wear it at school. The pro- tection of their young skin is essential and I appreciate your support in caring for our children. This term we have two new staff who will be working with us regularly. I would like to welcome Mrs Rebecca O’Connor and Mr Tim Fogarty, both quality teachers joining our team and provide great lessons to our children. AUTISM WORKSHOP A FREE two day workshop and information sessions for PARENTS/CARERS of school age students on the autism spectrum will be held in Bathurst on Wednesday 20 & Thursday 21 November. It is a great opportunity for parents to connect and learn fabulous information about understanding and managing Autism spectrum disorders.

YEAR SIX FAREWELL Dear Parents The date for the Year Six Farewell is on the school calendar and preparations are underway to produce the powerpoint and the profiles of the students that will decorate the wall. Mrs Leanna Carr-Smith and Mrs Karen Cain would like all year 6 students to find a baby photo, a photo of ages between 4yrs and 10yrs and up to 5 photos of school events with themselves and their friends. When the photo is found please email it to the school email address—on the front of the newsletter and the office will send it on to us. We also have given each child a profile to fill in after thinking about some sensible answers to the questions. The photos and the profiles are all required by the first week in November. The students will be given some time at school to also work on these items. Thanks for your support. Karen Cain

“2013 HEARTKIDS RUGBY CUP & CLINIC” The calibre of player that will be here at the clinic will be out standing with most players holding either NSW or AUST Honours. This is a wonderful opportunity for our young players to be exposed to the skills that they will bring and teach our country players. After the clinic there will be an exhibition match between the Deadwood Team and an “Invitational Central West Team”. The best part about the Heartkids Rugby Cup is that we are raising money for a fantastic cause in Heartkids and all money raised will stay in the central west for family out here suffering from Childhood Heart Disease. My son was born with Heart Disease and has had over 7 Heart Operations and is only 7yrs old. There are many families within the Rugby community that have been touched with Heart Disease out there so I hope we can all get behind this Exhibition match and come and support this event.
