Dear Friends,

Our annual picnic was a huge success. Everyone loved our All Holidays theme. It was colorful and FUN. We ate hot dogs and chips, played games and had wonderful door prizes, donated to the Center by many organizations in the community. Ernie Garner was back in the building and many enjoyed the music and dancing.

I want to thank the staff, Board of Directors, volunteers and picnic committee who worked so hard on decorations, door prizes, games, food and fun - making the picnic extra special for all who attended. I also want to thank our prize and game sponsors: The Addison of Pleasant Prairie, Home Instead, Kenosha Place Assisted Living, Robin Way and Care Patrol.

Thank you to all who came to the picnic and thanks again to all the staff, volunteers, Board members and sponsors for a fabulous day! Enjoy the last days of summer.

See you at the Center! Sincerely,

Words Of Wisdom

Þ Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.

Þ Be your own inspiration each day, try to write what you’re thankful for.

Þ Maturity comes when you stop making excuses and start making changes.

Þ I never lose. I either win or learn. (Nelson Mandela)

Þ You only fail when you stop trying.

Þ The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude!

Þ You’ll never change your life until you change

something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.
