Orting Holiday Giving 2014
Please join the Orting Food Bank, the Orting School District, the Orting Community Network, and the community at large in supporting families in
our midst who need a lift this Holiday Season.
There are a few ways you can support a local family/ student during the
holidays:
1) Sponsor a family with a Holiday meal and/or Christmas gifts
2) Give food and/or cash/check donations to "Orting Food Bank Holiday 2014"
3) Select individual gift(s) Tag from a “giving gift box” to purchase
1) Sponsor a family:
If you would like to sponsor a family in our community with gifts and/or food, please contact Jeanie Pestinger,
Community Volunteer. Jeannie is heading up the gift giving/sponsorships for families and is collaborating
with many businesses and charitable organizations in our community.

Holiday food items can be dropped off directly at the Orting Food Bank. Cash/Check donations can be dropped
off at participating businesses or the Orting Food Bank.

3) Buy a gift:
Before Thanksgiving the FCCLA Club from Orting High School will place a “Giving Box” in each participating
business in town. The Giving box will have “tags” for an individual child with age, gift idea and/or clothing sizes. Items donated will be picked up on December 12th for distribution to families prior to the holi-
day.
