The Holiness of God

Exodus 15:11

Who among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is like you--

majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?

Deuteronomy 32:4

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just.

A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

Joshua 24:19

Joshua said to the people, "You are not able to serve the LORD. He is a holy God; he is a jealous

God. He will not forgive your rebellion and your sins.

1 Samuel 2:2

There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our

God.

Job 4:17

Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a man be more

pure than his Maker?

The Holiness God gives us

1 Corinthians 1:30

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-- that is, our righteousness, holiness and

redemption.

for all.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

The Holiness God asks of us

Leviticus 11:44

I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be

holy, because I am holy.

am holy.

Leviticus 20:26

You are to be holy to me because I, the LORD, am holy,

and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.
