STORY
• Isa is having his lunch. He is really hungry, so he does not say anything
before eating his food. His friend Samir is also eating with him, but Isa
does not offer anything to Samir. Isa also throw away some of his
sandwich because he does not like the colour of the bread.

Dua (Supplication)
‘Dua’ (Supplication) means to ask Allah directly for something.
There is nothing that Allah cannot do, therefore Dua is basically the means of asking the creator to do something.
So Dua is to seek guidance, help and benefit from Allah, the All-Mighty.
Learn the following Supplications:
Dua before going to bed:
◦ Bismika Allahumma
Amutu wa ahya
◦ In the name of Allah we
die (go to sleep) and get
life (wake up again).
Dua after waking up in the morning:
◦ Alhamdu lillahil-lathee ah-
yana ba’da ma amatana
wa ilayhi-nushoor
◦Many thanks to Allah who
gave us life after having
given us death and our
final return are to Him.
Dua before entering the washroom:
◦Allahumma inni
audhu bika
minal khubuthi
wal khabaith
◦Oh Allah! I seek
refuge in You
from male or
female devils.
Dua when leaving the washroom:

Prophets
Adam (A) is the first Prophet.
Muhammad (S) is the last Prophet of Allah.
Muhammad (S) was born in Mecca. His mother’s name was Amina. His father’s name was Abdullah.
We have to say Sallallahu alaihi Wasalam after the name of Prophet Muhammad.
We have to say Alaihis salam after the name of other Prophets.
In this guidebook we have used:
(S) = Sallallahu alaihi Wasalam
(A) = Alaihis salam
Allah will be pleased with us if we do the following:
Pray 5 times daily.
Respect our parents.
Always remember Allah.
Read the Quran.
Help the needy.
Be kind to everyone, including animals.

Adam (A)
◦ Allah created man. Who was the first man?

Allah is one, is the creator of all.
Allah taught Adam (A) the names of everything

to bow down to Adam (A)?

Because Allah (SWT) taught
Adam the names of all things.
Iblis. Iblis thinks he is better than
Adam (A) because he is made from
fire and Adam was made from clay.
He is Iblish/Satan. He was a Jinn.
Allah made a woman. Who was she?
Adam (A) and Hawwa allowed themselves to be
tricked by Iblis. What was their punishment?
They were placed out of paradise and put on
the earth.

How did Adam (A) feel?
He was very sorry, repented and asked
forgiveness from Allah (SWT)
Do we think that Allah (SWT) would forgive him?
Of course, Allah (swt) is the Most Merciful!
What about Iblis? ◦ Allah (swt) also punished him and send him to earth. But he did not
asked forgiveness from Allah (swt)
Iblis vowed to misguide men and women. What does this mean? ◦ It means he is going to do his best to make people do bad things so they
can be punished in hell.
What are the other names of Iblis? ◦ Iblis is known as Shaitan. In Bible, Iblis is known as devil.
What does Iblis do? ◦ Iblish do all the tricks to make people do bad things
How can we
save ourselves
from tricks of Iblis?
We can save us from Iblis by:
◦ Asking forgiveness from Allah for any bad
thing we do, or any bad idea that comes in
our mind.
◦ We can seek Allah’s protection from Iblis
(devil) by saying “Audhubillahi minas
shaitanur rajim (I seek refuge in Allah from
Iblish)” so that Iblis cannot do any harm to us.
◦ Do Wudu
◦ Recite Quran
◦ Say Dhikr in the morning and evening
