This worksheet is to help you learn the parts of the Worship Service so you can worship our AWESOME GOD during church! Try to work through the worksheet at the same pace that the service is going. If there are parts you don’t know how to do right now that’s ok...just do what you can! If you have questions be sure to ask your parent or guardian for help. Put the “Please Bee Quiet” sticker on your bulletin by the part where we prepare for worship. This is the time when we settle down, stop talking, and get ready to worship. If you’re ready to worship God write I’m Ready! in your bulletin. Preparing for Worship Put the heart sticker by the part of the Worship Service where we tell God how much we love and adore Him. We are writing “PLEASE” to remind us that this is when we ask God to please be here and help make our Worship Service glorifying to Him. Invocation Aſter each song pick a smiley face sticker to put next to the title to show how it made you feel. (Hint: If it made you happy, use the smiley face with the huge smile!) Then, if the words to the songs are printed in your bulletin, circle your favorite line or word in each song.

Preparing for Worship

Put the heart sticker by the part of the Worship Service where we tell God how much we love and adore Him. Circle all the words that mean to love and praise God. Some words that you may see are: love, adore, praise, goodness, heart, and sing.

Praise

Find the word “Invocation.” Put the sticker of the girl praying next to that word and then write down the word PLEASE. We are writing “PLEASE” to remind us that this is when we ask God to please be here and help make our Worship Service glorifying to Him.

Invocation

After each song pick a smiley face sticker to put next to the title to show how it made you feel. (Hint: If it made you happy, use the smiley face with the huge smile!) Then, if the words to the songs are printed in your bulletin, circle your favorite line or word in each song.

Worship Songs

Put the brown cross sticker by the part of the Worship Service where we confess our sin. Pray during this time and ask God to forgive you for your sins.

Confession of Sin

Listen carefully and when you hear the word “Forgiven” put the “FORGIVEN” sticker down on your bulletin and underline it. We are forgiven because Jesus died on the cross for us. Remember, there isn’t a sin so big that God can’t forgive it.

Find Your Favorite Part

Tithes & Offerings

Put the Bible sticker by the section where the pastor teaches us a lesson from the Bible. Then, do as many of the following things that you can:1. Circle the name of the pastor

teaching the sermon today.

Sermon

Put the sticker of the bread and cup by the section where the pastor holds them up and talks about them. He does this so we can all remember the suffering and death of Christ. Write the words Body and Blood next to the sticker.

Communion

Put the sticker of the pastor raising his hand by the section where the pastor gives us a final blessing and sends us off, to make disciples, closing the Worship Service. Wave at the pastor when you leave the sanctuary!

Benediction

Put the sticker of the hands holding water next to the part about baptism. The water reminds us that God washes away all our sins through faith in Jesus Christ. Pray for the child/adult being baptized that they will know God’s love for them.

Baptism

Put the sticker of the family next to the part of the service when someone becomes a member of the church. Write the word Welcome! next to the sticker and try to remember to welcome them to the church family after the service.

New Members

See if there is a new family sitting near you that your family can say hello to after the Worship Service is over. Did you meet any kids your age? If so write their names down on the lines below:

Meet Someone New

Look at your bulletin and see which parts of the service you found. (Hint: Look for the stickers.) On your worksheet draw a check in the little yellow circle that’s in the same box as each part you found. (Example: )

Then write the total number of checks you had in the big yellow circle
