Expert Lecture

Mr. Rameshwar Jeughale delivering seminar on “Use of Electronics & Electrical Instruments in Today‟s Industry”

The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department had organized a seminar on “Use of

Electronics & Electrical Instruments in Today’s Industry” on 16th

August 2016 for third year students of

Electronics and Telecommunication Engg.Speaker for the seminar was Mr. Rameshwar Jeughale, TATA

Motors,Pune.He introduced reasons for a safe and healthy electronics workspace. He also focused recent

trends in electronics . The students were also encouraged to come forward and discuss about their queries

about different workspace and electronics industry environment.

Mr.Dnyaneshwar Padol delivering seminar on “Need of PLC & PLC Programming Skills” The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department had organized a seminar on „Need of

PLC & PLC Programming Skills‟ on 22nd

August 2016 for third year students of Electronics and

Telecommunication Engg. Speaker for the seminar was Mr. Dnyaneshwar Padol,ROMAN Automation,Pune.He focused on need of PLC and PLC programming skills through practical sessions.

E & Tc Engineering students visit to Veer Savarkar Smark,Bhagur

The department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of K.K.Wagh Polytechnic,Chandori

has organized Study Visit to “Veer Savarkar Smarak,Bhagur,Devlali,Nashik” for third

yearelecommunication Engg. on 26th

August, 2016.Visit provided an insight to historical and inspirational

environment . It also focuses on history of Veer Savarkar Smarak.The main purpose of visit was to show

respect towards our freedom fighters as because of them we are enjoying free life. Overall 11 students

along with two faculty members Ms.Rakibe P.D. and Ms.Sangle S.L.,were present for the visit.

Azadi Ke 70 Sal (Celebration of Independence Day)

The student council “Advait” of K.K.Wagh Polytechnic,Chandori has organized Azadi Ke 70

Sal(Celebration of Independence day) for all students and staff of K.K.Wagh Polytechnic Chandori on

29th

August, 2016.The purpose of event is to salute and to show respect towards our national heros,our

freedom fighters because of whom we are enjoying free life .Also to find various skills of students and for

the public awareness regarding nation. Students were actively participated in the event.The celebration was

the combo of different activities like poster competition,essay competition,motivational

skit,drama,dance,singing etc.Ms. Rakibe P.D.,Lecturer EJ was the coordinator for the event.

Welcome Function

K. K. Wagh Polytechnic, Chandori , August 11, 2016 : With an aim to strengthen the Staff-Students

bonding & introduction of Academic, a Welcome function was organized in the campus to greet the newly

admitted students of First Year Diploma. The function was conducted under the Science Department.

Rules , Attendance, Uniform, Time table, Introduction of Subject Teachers & Class Teacher etc. were

highlighted during the programme. The students were informed about various academic rules and

regulations followed in the K. K. Wagh Polytechnic, Chandori. Mrs. S. P. Tarle, Ic. HOD (Sci. Dept.) in

her message, called upon the new entrants to excel in academics, sports and cultural activities, and make a

mark in different spheres of life in maintaining very high academic standards forward. She also exhorted

the new entrants to work hard, focus on their goals and achieve their targets. Stating that the „K. K. Wagh

Education Society‟ is a renowned institution in all over Maharashtra.

Independence Day

Prof. M. B. Jhade (Principal, K. K. Wagh Polytechnic, Chandori) & all staff attending Independence Day

Function.

The 70 th Independance Day of India was celebrated at K. K. Wagh Polytechnic, Chandori. The day began

with the hoisting of the Indian flag by Hon. Sureshji Bhoj, followed by the National Anthem. The entire

college courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic beats of “Zenda Uchha Rahe Hamara”.A broad smile

could be seen on everyone's face when the Polytechnic students sang the song “Mera Karma Tu..”. The

programme concluded with very inspiring speech given by the Principal, Prof. P. T. Kadve. He

passionately spoke about the role of youths in the growth of our country.

Expert Lecture

Expert lecture delivering on “AutoCAD” by Mr. Rajesh Shelke

An Expert Lecture on “AutoCAD” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering on 29th

August

2016 for the students of second and third year Civil Engineering students. The lecture was delivered by Mr.

Rajesh Shelke, Business Manager, Access CADD, Nashik. The expert lecture was inaugurated by Mr. D.S.

Kurhade. In this lecture Mr. Rajesh Shelke discussed importance of AutoCAD and recent use of

AutoCAD in Civil Engineering Business. The Students get motivated by the guidance. They found the

session very useful for their future.

Industrial Visits

Visit 1) SYCE students at RMC Plant, near Atharva International Off Airport Road, Jaulke, Nashik

The Civil Engineering Department has arranged an industrial visit to RMC Plant, Anmol Build Matx Pvt.

Ltd. on 13th

August 2016. Mr.Bagga,(Quality Controller) has explained the meaning of RMC as well as

various necessities regarding uses of RMC. He explained the company history and its developement, various products which are manufactured in the company , etc. He explained the use of RMC in the

construction of Airport Pavement. He also gave information about the polymer fibre reinforced concrete.

Various types of machinaries were there which make the construction speedy and easy. The students of

second year along with 3 staff member attended the visit.

Study Visits

Visit 2) TYCE students at Workshop, K.K.Wagh Polytechnic, Chandori, Nashik

A study visit was organized by the department of Civil Engineering for third year students at Workshop, K.K.Wagh Polytechnic, Chandori on 13th August 2016. Ms. N.N.Desai gave the brief introduction about Design Of Steel Struucture.. Mr. D.S.Dighe gave information about the various component parts of truss and types of trusses. Students observed and studied about truss and Design of truss. This visit proved very beneficial to students as they got the overall idea about the Design of truss.

Expert Lecture of Prashant G. Mogal on 23 rd

August- 2016

Electrical Engineering department has organized Expert Lecture of Prashant G. Mogal Sr. Engineer in ABB Ltd

. Satpur. Student Learnt about Interfacing of Microcontroller for various applications in project. Mr. Mogal focus on

necessity Programming in automation. Student must develop use full program for Industrial application by using

Micro controller application.

Independence week Celebration.

Independence weekCelebration on 26 August 2016

Electrical Engineering department had participated and celebrated Independence week. On this

occasion Institute level visit was arranged at Swatantrya Veer Sawarkar Smarak . Student came to know about great

sacrifice of Vinayak Damodar Swavarkar for revolutionary movement of Indian Freedom.

Industrial Visit

Faculty Training program arranged on30 August -2016.

Electrical Engineering department had organized Visit to Hydro-electric power plant situated on river Vaitarna.

Student Learnt about generation plant. The power is developed on flow of water through dam in tail race

region. Total two plants are running 1.5 M.W. and 60 M.W. N.S.Gorhe and A.S.Sonawane sir make co-ordination

for Visit Mr. Dange gave information about 1.5 M.W. while Mr. Ingale gave information regarding 60 M.W.

power supply.

Lecture by Mr. Yuvraj Vadje, UV Knowledge Link Pvt. Ltd. ,Nashik on “CAD CAM”

Mechanical Engineering Department had organized an Expert talk of Mr. Yuvraj Vadje, UV Knowledge

Link Pvt. Ltd. ,Nashik on “CAD CAM”on 22nd Aug 2016 .Second year students of mechanical have

taken the benefit of this programme. He shared various uses and benefits of design software like

AutoCad,CATIA and PRO-E.

Expert Lecture

Lecture by Mr. D K Padol, Project Engineer, Roman Automation, Pune on “PLC”

Mechanical Engineering Department had organized an Expert talk of Mr. D K Padol, Project Engineer,

Roman Automation, Pune on PLC on 22nd August 2016 .Second year students of mechanical have taken

the benefit of this programme. He shared his lknowledge of PLC and its industrial Application with

students.

Workshop Skill development

Skill Development workshop

In this academic year, institute has successfully organized the workshop on "Skill Development Programe

"from 24th

Aug to 26th

Aug 2016 . The resource person for this workshop was Mr. Shivraj Patil, Trainer,

Art of Living and skill development, Nashik. This workshop was really helpful to the engineering students

in which they learnt how personality and Skill is developed and which factors affect the individuals

personality. Students were too excite with this event and felt very happy throughout the sessions. All third

year students were attended the workshop.

The Computer Engineering Department had organized the Expert Lecture on ‘’ on 29th

August 2016 for the

Second and Third Year Students of Computer Engineering at 01:30 to 03:30 pm. Speaker for the Expert

talk was Mr.Rajesh Shelke. Business Manager at Access CAD, Nashik . Mr. Rajesh Shelke sir share his

views about communication ethics, effectively communicate with unknown person, verbal communication,

scale of progress. He also explained How to build up self-confidence? etc. The felicitation is given by Mr.

M. N. Jadhav, HOD CO, the vote of thanks is given by Mr.C.D.Kokane, Lecturer ,CO department.

Mr. Umesh S. Chitte delivering expert talk on ‘Online Trading and Online Employment Registration’

The Computer Engineering Department had organized the Expert talk on „Online Trading and Online

Employment Registration‟ on 16th

August 2016 for the Second and Third Year Students of Computer

Engineering. Speaker for the Expert talk was Mr.Umesh Chitte, CMS Corporation Ltd, Dadar Mumbai. He

is having industrial as well as social experience of approximate 6 years. He introduced the concept of

Online trading in that how every student of Computer can earn money from share marketing, He cleared

prime concept about share marketing, How to purchase share of different Companies etc. Mr. Chitte was

taken online demonstration of same. He discussed about the details of Nifty organization and all basic

things about marketing.Mr. Chitte described importance of Employment registration with certificate and id,

passwords The felicitation is given by Mr. M. N. Jadhav, HOD CO department and the vote of thanks is

given by final year student, CO department.

Report on Visit to Savarkar Waada, Bhagur at Chandori. For SY & TY Students

Computer Engg. Student‟s visit to savarkar vaada at Bhagur.

To celebrate independence week visit to Veer Savarkar Waada, Bhagur was organized by

„Advait‟, Student council of K.K.Wagh Polytechinc, Chandori. for the Second and Third Year students on

26th Aug

2016. In this visit following points are instructed to study and prepare for History of Savarkar

Waada, to tribute to grat freedom fighters , location and Structure of Savarkar Waada, rare photographs of

Veer Savarkar, Veer Savarkars patriotic icons .

Expert Lecture

Ms.Rajashri Gadhe delivering expert talk on ‘Software Engineering ’

The Computer Engineering Department had organized the Expert Lecture on „Software Engineering‟ on

16th

August 2016 for the Second and Third Year Students of Computer Engineering at 01:30 to 03:30 pm.

Speaker for the Expert talk was Ms.Rajashri Gadhe, Director of LO-TECH PRO, Nashik . Total

beneficiary for Expert lecture was 20 . She focused enough to deliver an informative session on concepts

related to Software Engineering. She discussed about software development process models, software cost

,software products as well as different software testing techniques such as Alpha testing, Beta testing,

White Box testing ,Black Box testing and Regression testing etc.
