FimmaFng is a neat little waist pack with many clever details and can be used as an extra pocket on our backpacks. You can store the hipbelt in a meshpocket. It has a small internal zip pocket and a stretch pocket on the outside that is convenient for drying and storing small items.

Fenja is the right bag for people who want a place for everything. It has padding to protect your laptop and has plenty of pockets, both with and without zips. You can open it from the side for easy access for your phone or snacks. If youre in a hurry, tighten the waist strap around your body so the bag stays still and your body is free to move at speed.

Chalkbag 2.0 has a small pocket for the Lapis brush and fluffy fleece on the inside to distribute the chalk. Use the loop to attach it to a carabiner on your harness or rope to keep it at your waist.

Klttermusen ensures that he has reliable clothes with him, as well functioning equipment is vital on a 40-day climb to the top of Great Trango in Pakistan. His equipment list includes Brede jacket, Mithril jacket and Iving, a waterproof down jacket.

Our backpack fabric is produced from old fishing nets and carpets, and is just as durable as fabric using newly-produced nylon. This saves raw materials, as well as reducing carbon emissions and the pollution of the worlds oceans. The material is certified by GRS (global recycling standard).

DO yOU RemembeR the first ones we made, back in 1993? They were bright green with yellow reinforcement on the knees and could be seen at great distances. Nowadays were a bit more discreet the new ones are available in grey and black. Mithril pants have many great features suitable for climbing. The womens model has a zip that goes all the way round the gusset, making a pee break on the tenth pitch a bit safer. One superb detail is the towel-like fabric at the lower part of the legs, perfect for brushing off dirty climbing shoes for better grip on the rock. You also get five pockets and other detailing.

Allgrn is a waterproof shell jacket for every season. It has excellent stretch and great fit for ultimate freedom of movement. Details include a whistle, compass and Recco. Allgrn is made in PFOA-free recycled and recyclable polyester.

The nakeD TRUTh: The hood doesnt have a Windvisor, so if your next adventure is to Antarctica or somewhere else thats cold and windy, choose a different jacket.

Throw them on the dump and turn it to landfill? We have a better idea! Hand them back to us and well take care of the fabric. We save and sort items that can be recycled to make new material, keeping them until we have large enough amounts to send away to be processed. Or we make something entirely new from the used products. At stersund/re Airport you can now sit in comfortable chairs made from worn out Klttermusen jackets.

All of our products have a label sewn into them that shows the deposit value. Check and see what it says in yours!

Our popular Gere pants now have a little brother. Hes called Horg and is made from the same hardwearing recycled nylon fabric as his big brother, but the design is a little different. Both pants are suitable for outdoor activities and can withstand tough use. Great to have between you and a hard cliff!

The nameS OlD nORSe hiSTORy:

Gere is one of Odins two wolves. The wolves got all the food because Odin just drank wine.

Horg is a steep cliff to the east of the farm with the same name. Its still possible to go there; nowadays its called Melhus and is just south of Trondheim, in Norway.

klTTeRmUSen in Real liFe

The main interest of Klttermusen founder, Peter Askulv, is the outdoors. In the 1980s, he spent all his time climbing, caving, skiing, paddling and doing other outdoor activities. In the range of outdoor products, he missed the good, hardwearing ones that he could trust in even the toughest conditions. So he started to sew his own backpacks and clothes, like the forest biologist he was. After all, how hard could it be, he thought? So Klttermusen was born and, over the years, more and more customers have discovered that Peters design ideas are functional, fit for purpose and really, really good. He is still an outdoor enthusiast and has no end of ideas for new products.

Our aim has always been to provide customers with well designed, functional, hard-wearing products that are good value for money. We take care to ensure our products are environmentally sustainable and durable and, as far as possible, we avoid harmful chemicals.

Our ECO-index provides guidance when choosing products, as the higher percentage a product has, the less impact it has on the environment. You dont have to be a chemist to make a good choice.

We give you a refund when you have worn out your garment or backpack. We want the textiles back so that we can reuse or recycle them.

Vidblin is a jacket with combined MFR properties (MFR = Mass Flow Resistance). The fabric on the front is tightly woven, organic Eta-proof cotton and, on the back, the jacket has the slightly less wind resistant Windstretch fabric.

In windy weather youll find that the jacket is more windproof from the front and that it allows better ventilation at the back. If you want to keep your ears warm, simply unpack the hood from the high collar.
