3. Eligibility
1) Outstanding undergraduate students, majoring
in science and engineering-related fields
2) Students with an interest in enrolling in the master’s
or doctoral program at Kobe University in the future.
4. Program Fee
1) Students from partner universities: Free
2) Other students: 70,000 JPY
Note: Airline tickets, local transportation, travel insurance,
lunch and dinner are at participant expense for all
students. The accommodation will be arranged and
covered by Kobe University.
5. Application Deadline: March 16, 2020(Japan time)

Kobe University’s official mascot character, Shindai Uribo!Shindai Uribo (or “Uribo” for short) became Kobe University’s official mascot
character in September 2017. Its name comes from a shortened version of KobeUniversity (神大 pronounced “Shindai”) and “uribo”, the Japanese word for wild
boar piglet.
