COMPANY
BACKGROUND
RC Asia Engineering Sdn Bhd started out as JLJY Rel Care Enterprise
which was established in 1996 and was positioned to provide
engineering services and support to KTMB and existing Main
Contractors in various railway yard and track-upgrading and
rehabilitation projects.
JLJY Rel Care Enterprise continued to grow and establish itself as a
Competent and Reliable Engineering Services Provider and by the
year 2002 had a total of 150 competent and skilled personnel
conversant with all types of track engineering work.
To reflect the Organization’s Capability and Standing in the industry, it
was decided in 2002 to incorporate a private limited company, REL
CARE SDN. BHD. to take over the business of JLJY Enterprise. The
company name was subsequently changed to RC ASIA ENGINEERING
SDN BHD.
RC Asia Engineering Is now an established and reputable contractor
specializing in all manner of railway track engineering works. With a
professional management team ably supported by dedicated and
skilled engineering personnel, RC Asia Engineering is well placed to
serve the Railway Industry.
RC Asia Engineering’s commitment to Engineering Excellencesteeped in Professionalism and Quality is key to the successfulprocurement and execution of a variety of railway projects. Andnotable is the Ballast Undercutting and Replacement project on150
kilometres of the East Coast Line, which is the first time work of thisnature has been attempted on a scale of this magnitude in Malaysia.
We have been involved in the implementation of the Electrified
Double Tracking Project from Ipoh – Rawang (200 km), Electrified
Double Tracking Project from Seremban – Gemas (100 km) and
Electrified Double Tracking Project from Ipoh – Padang Besar (300
km).
Our repertoire of work also includes rehabilitation and upgrading
of existing wooden sleeper tracks to concrete sleeper tracks with
UIC 54 kg rails (200 km)
Our professionalism and competency has been recognized by the
Ministry of Transport and the major railway operator, KTMB
(Malayan Railway). Hence, we have been called upon by the
latter to assist in reviving and or completing ‘sick projects’.
